Besides the fact that showing a woman's legs is not sexist. A woman running in shorts is no more of a sexual object than a man running in shorts. Running makes you more sensitive to heat, and it's uncomfortable to run in long pants. I don't run, but I wear shorts in the summer because it's too hot for pants. That doesn't make me a sexual object, but an intelligent person who doesn't want to over-heat.
