@metalmaniac243 they used to use mesa's (travis used a mark V and claudio used either a dual or tiple rec). Travis uses a mesa electradyne for cleans now and possibly a stiletto from time to time i think but in this video they are both playing bogner uberschalls. at least for the lead tone. Claudio also uses a 50 watt orange (not sure exactly what model) for less distorted stuff and either a deluxe or twin reverb for cleans.

@trickykid0011 Actually, I think it's pretty accurate to say that, I mean, nothing will ever really be as classic as Floyd, but Coheed really does deliver. And I think Tool really stands alone as something completely different and incomparable. If you're comparing Tool and Floyd by saying they created something really origional that wasn't really there before, than yes, I completely agree with you on that, but its not so far-fetched to put Coheed into that category either.
