Speed doesn't equal being a good drummer. As a drummer, I prefer Portnoy's technique than this guys speed, too fast and sounds horrible because of speed. I don't say that the guy sux and that speed grind metal is total shit, personnaly I use grind and blast beats to practice endurance and speed but I dont use them in the songs I play with my band. Music needs drummers from all kinds and for speed, this guy rocks the hell out of it !!!

Each snare hit is so uniform in volume and power too, which is unusual at that speed.

This guy is probably for real only his legs are only doing half the work of his hands, which to me is cheating.
