  • Piss on VA?! I am a disabled Combat Infantrymen, with more brokmen body parts than any 22 year old should have, and ALL THEY DO IS FEED YOU PILLS!!! No x-ray, no surgery, not a goddmn thing.

And they love to lie about suicide rates amongst veteran! Don't give in to these pieces of shit!!!

  • Thanks for the wonderful information. I will pass it along to fellow veterans I know and work with.

  • Thanks for your service.

  • You're most welcome, and thanks for the thanks. :-)

I've only been able to watch a couple of your videos so far, (in your Civil War series,) but having studied military history since about age ten, am loving them and the new things I'm learning from you, so thank YOU for that!

  • I'd like to add that this program isn't very well publicized in the VA system, (at least that I've ever seen.) I JUST found out about it, and have been in the system for 26 years, and while it hasn't been around that long, it has been for a couple years at least.

It not only will allow the docs to keep up with a patients day to day stats, but allow patients to be better informed as to test results which, if they don't understand them, they can ask their docs about.

  • Thanks for this incredibly easy way of communicating this information; will post it to my blog and pass the word.

  • This should be featured. Let drive it to the top by spamming it with comments.

  • Thank you for posting this.

  • I was wondering how you might respond to the whole Walter Reed thing. This is the best response I can imagine. Well done.

  • EVERY military or VA hospital I've been to has depts/areas that are VERY good, and others that are VERY bad. Pretty much any vet can tell you stories similar to the Walter Reed debacle, as well as stories of extraordinary people and care that goes above and beyond the call.

Bottom line, it's called public health care. Why ANYONE would want it is beyond me when compared to private hospitals, which rely on profits, which they wouldn't get if they had crappy areas like govt. hospitals do.

  • The Walter Reed debacle didn't surprise me one bit. There are truly outstanding depts in every military/VA hospital, as well as horrendous ones.

My guess? Congress will make a big show of "investigating" this to prove their "love" for the military/vets, and then it'll be right back to the status quo.

  • I will be sure to pass the word.

  • Dave this is good stuff. Thanks!
