@simpsons12323 There's good and bad animation in every industrialized nation. Even looking to the right at Chinese Chess Master or Storm Riders Clash of the Evils you can see that.
The quality is good but inconsistent. Some scenes have a decent amount of animation, but the shortcuts taken are obvious enough to be distracting. Many of the more populated scenes are animated as though the characters were cutouts pasted onto popsicle sticks. The work is trying to be minimalistic, but if this is to be marketed as a masterpiece there needs to be a huge step up in quality. Otherwise it's kinda hard not to view this in the same light as other anime derived works like Avatar.
I mean I do think there should be more animation to add more movement, but I don't think it looks bad. I like Chinese style, it resembles anime but its in Asia, I'm sure its influence by anime. But Chinese got their own style too I think its good. =)
awesome vid, but i have no friggin clue what's goin on,besides catching a fish and some gift thing..? can anyone tell me what's goin on? i can't read chinese that fast..
It is its own style, if you notice, many chinese animation has more and heavier detail, while many japanese cartoon has hairs that are golden color like white people. no its different

Chengdu was a beautiful city, I stayed there for 3 weeks and attended some classes.
This is a nice way to connect with people, good character design.

the style is terrible... Manhua artwork is awesome though. They need to use better art directors.

it does look way too similar to anime. and not very well drawn too. the chinese actually have much better artists than these.

i dont think its a bad copy of a japanese anime. the chinese been making there own style. its called Manhua. Manhua was way before manga. look it up.
