  • What music is this?

  • @m1z3rk3r Floyd got the most aero tt position of all these riders:)

  • zombie!!!!!!!

  • haha Floyd's weird ass TT position and he still kills it

  • Great video....get a new camera please ...my iPhone probably does a better job at filming than that

  • 1:43 evil sonic the hedgehog?

  • Cycling is like baseball in the steroid era. more than most have doped or still are. Lance did, Loyd did, Entire teams did. They should any racer to put whatever he wants into his body and call it a level playing field instead of creating grounds for all this bullshit drama. Its fucking professional sports and any pro worth his salt is going to take whatever advantage he can get. If they dont, theres always an LBS hiring a bike mechanic.

  • The Praying Mantis Position!

  • gay tt bars!

  • insane position by landis!

  • Floyd is the best cyclist of all time too bad he wasted in career being just a domestique.

  • red neck death metal crap music..ive always seen cycling like james bond..sophisticated technical...this isnt that sort of music

  • 2:03 that is one superb looking bike. Can someone please tell me whats the make and model? also how fast do these guys go on a straight. Thanks

Sorry for the stupid questions - im new to these kind of bikes

  • @fIRsTRATmAN

The bike brand is "BMC," I'm not sure of a specific model. This isn't and educated statement, but I would imagine it was there team ITT bike and isn't/won't be for sale to the general public. As far as speed on the flats some of these guys will push over thirty mph. Its unbelievable how incredibly strong they are!

  • @fIRsTRATmAN Wallmart bike

  • on the bends they should put there knee down like the superbike racers

  • @fIRsTRATmAN You keep your knee close to the frame on the bends. It's more aerodynamic and stable.

  • I love time trial!

  • he is all over the road!!! even when i bank during my TT's i try to only go somewhat past the line lol

  • i definetly prefer horner's position he seems to be more aero dynamic and in the 2011 TT season im gonna try it

  • Landis destroys california? Landis destroys cycling!

  • @nieckq

not anymore, no one will EVER give him the chance again after what happened.

  • @Bhousm76 well hes still destroying it by claiming to know that EVERY rider in the peleton uses dope etc. but you're right, he wont destroy cycling with HIS cycling anymore ;)

  • @nieckq Lance, yes.

  • Everybody that's anybody in elite professional cycling has doped their entire career. Let's just get that out of the way. Contador was caught two months ago, yet still protests. How will it end I wonder....? LOL.

  • Doesn't Landis sit UP a little more than most in this vid?

But his full body tuck is more efficient I bet....he closes down his chest and wind has to pass around the sides NOT through his chest region.

  • Terrible fag fan music

  • next time use lance's doctor...

  • i guess if you have a good doctor and don't get caught cheating you can be the best, landis pay the price using a shitty doctor, fucking loser....

  • How can a person say that music video is bad? The music is great!

  • Thanks for this video. LOVE IT, montage, music and all. Thumbs up!

  • The Canseco of cycling. tsk tsk

  • Forever tainted.

  • biggest PIECE OF SHIT in cycling - took a lot of money from people to prove his "innocence" - way to go floyd - hope you die screaming!!!

  • @gomergilligan wow even if you donated money that is not somthing you should wish appon someone he made mistakes but its not like he murdered someone

  • @beavervalley1 nope he murder his own career that's all RIP cheater lol

  • NICE TT video...best part at 1min52s...thats why i like TT races! pure speed:)

  • good vid ruined by horrid music!

  • @coolygirlconnie You have a choice, just mute the vid and put on your own music... Sheesh, people just love to complain.

  • Why do their back wheels have a carbon fiber rim instead of spokes like the front tire?

  • Aerodynamic Wind-cheating design to minimize drag. There are, however, disadvantages to that set up when the course is hilly with turns. It all comes down to what the rider feels the most comfortable and confident with.

  • @L1lzk

Because there is an aerodynamic advantage, it helps in making sure the airflow in the middle of the wheel isn't disrupted, as for why they have spokes on the front, it's because riding a disk wheel on the front is bloody dangerous in winds, so most prefer to ride deep section spokes wheels for the front. However, in velodrome cycling, they often use disk front wheels, because there's no wind.

  • @L1lzk

aerodynamics. Its just how it works.

  • Who cares if he cheated, that is one amazingly technical tt stage. Those guys have amazing skills and some pretty huge cajones.

  • XCLNT VIDEO 3 key elements MIND METAL MACHINE awsome_

  • Floyd was later caught doping. Bad for the sport :/

  • Good vid - hateful, awful music - warch with sound off!!

  • The best thing is that Floyd's Phonak outfit has to be one of the all time worst colour schemes for cycling kit. That yellow and green combination is absolutely hideous. Offensive to the eye.

  • BEST VIDEO TIME TRIAL!!!

  • How can you stand on the podium and wave your arms in the air when you cheated? I'd feel disgusting, and have no self respect. I would rather last place, without drugs.

  • well pretty much all the recent winners of the tour have cheated, the sport does have clean riders but its hard to win a mountain stage wake up 2 days later and do it again without bloodbags/epo.

  • Maybe if that first meant millions of dollars you'd change your mind. Not saying it's right but that's why these guys cheat.

  • too much tostonyourown

  • Floyd destoyed the sport with doping. faggots

  • They finish rides with an average speed of over 30 miles per hour... they're all on drugs buddy...

    think about it

  • @ripousse not all of them.. the last couple years doping control has really tightened up. if you look at the commitment that these guys train at, the amount of hours they spend every week on their bikes. i disagree that they all cheat.

  • @zach00attack I agree with you. I hate to read comments of people saying that everyone in the pro peleton is cheating or that all of the greats cheated their entire careers. I think people who make those types of comments are speaking ignorantly. These guys do this for a living and spend 6 hours a day training. I went to the Commonwealth Games last year and was able to shave 3 minutes off of my 40k TT time just thanks to the training I did the 3 weeks I was there. Imagine these guys.

  • More human than human is a bit ironic for a song choice for good old floyd.

  • Floyd should have came clean, now he has to lie for the rest of his life. hahahahhaha. Just like Barry Bond. Its a shame.

  • I DOPE BIG TIME TEAM BUZZSPEED

  • lol, man he was caught for doping in the tour, that's proof enough to say almost anything we want about him and his racing during that year

  • Do not accuse anyone for doping without proof please.

  • what more proof do you need than high enough testosterone levels to turn pamela anderson into a silverback gorilla!?

  • it wasnt nececarrily that his T levels were high it was that it was high enough to only deduce synthetic testosterone to be the reason. some people have hi T levels but his apparently were outragous. THe only other explanation is a lab fuck up.

  • @curtmastor The reason he got caught is because of blood doping. He reinjected blood that had syntetic testosterone in it. He was using the test when he was training and had some blood withdrawn (probably sometime after the dauphine). It was a fuck up and it got him caught. Floyd has said numerous times he actually wasn't using testosterome during that tour but he was blood doping.

  • He did fail a test dude....at the biggest and most thouraly tested event outside of the olympics. If had the balls to use epo there he most certainly didnt sweat the testers at california.

  • TT = ability to ride near at or near your limit the whole way. Can't be stiff, but you can't be wormy either. takes utmost concentration, power & speed.

  • biking is fun. it makes you fell good.

  • @doogrisa ... spelling fail...

  • @zach00attack English is ONE language.

    Be open minded

  • ho,ho! todavia corre Floyd Landis.pobre hombre.

  • How shallow Landis sits on his saddle. Just about everybody sits on front half of the saddle but in Landis case, it's like he's on the front nose. It looks like his entire upper body weight is supported by his elbows.

I predict the future of the TT riding position will be leaning more forward. There was a guy broke the hour record by "praying mantis" position and the trend seems going that way.

  • The UCI has a restriction on how far forward a saddle can go and teams cut the nose off the saddles to meat regulations if they are checked for it.

  • mustardjunkie:

    Thanks for the info.

  • Fuck Floyd Landis & Alex Rodriguez

  • It must be so amazing to zoom down those roads without having to worry about cars.

  • Those of you who think that all pro-cyclist are "doping" are obviously not pro-cyclist nor have you ever been one....

  • DOPING

  • Yeah ...Floyd cheats all the time...cuz some really honest French lab said he did, yeah, and i bet he cheats everyday until he has a heart-attack and blows up and shit, then comes back the next day and kills.

Floyd won the Tour .wake up they're all on dope, they're all cheaters. And so were the guys in the past......reality.

Hey sonny you wanna work in a factory all your life ..or be a cycling star?

  • Doping is not fair one bit... Not all the teams have the ability to beat the hematocrit controls and blood dope properly before the stages.

  • White Zombie - More Human Than Human

  • Of course Floyd won this, he was on the neddle!

  • David Zabriskie won this race, Floyd Cheated. Fucker

  • DZ and Floyd are like best friends, train together, etc... so if FL dopes, then so does DZ.. I don't think either one does.. He won this TT with his unique hand/bar positioning punching thru the air.

  • Dude zabriskie been caught on doping as wel 3 months afterwards... That makes him clean in this race?

  • I guess its only cheating if you get cought.

  • Dave Z has NEVER been caught or even accused of doping. Check your facts before you make stupid (and false) accusations

  • Zabriskie dopes FOR SURE! Big time.

  • Okay well how about you provide some facts for you accusations...if not don't make unfair accusations to one of cyclings' TRUE heroes

  • Zabriskie is atleast 25% higher sustainable power wise than watts humanly possibe.

Past freaks (multi time Tour winners) before epo and blood doping (like Hinault and Fingon) could only get out about 390 watts for an hour at Zabriskie's bodyweight. Zabriskie has sustained over 500 watts, and we know this because he beat Larsson who normalized 486 at California.

    Zabriskie is heavily heavily doped!

  • mustardjunkie -

EPO doesn't increase power, it just enables the body to produce power for longer than naturally normal. There was steroids around with Hinault. Steroids around with the Merckx too

  • Steroids do not allow you to sustain higher power outputes. Sustainable average power (producing power for longer) is determined by oxygen carrying capacity.

sustainable power (1-hour) or FTP (funtional threshold power) per kilo as junkie describes, is what determines the stage race results.

  • very valid point, well said.

  • your mom dopes dumb ass

    oh and fuck floyd landis.

  • @sergeantchaple now hes been accused ;)

  • @sergeantchaple

yeah..i hate how thats the first thing you hear when you see a good rider.

  • @sergeantchaple kinda fucked that one up didnt ya champ!

  • @sergeantchaple kinda fucked that one up didnt ya champ!

  • Was this the solvang time trial???...no not solvang..., the terrain looks very familiar...looks more like fresno!

    does anyone know?

  • That position looks fuckin' painful.

  • Song is White Zombie - More Human Than Human

    Off the 1995 AstroCreep:2000 album...

  • Yeah seriously, what's the song title?

  • i know it's rob zombie, but not quite sure about the title

  • White Zombie - More Human Than Human

  • Someone please tell me the name of this song

  • Floyd destroys cycling and sportsman ethics.

  • I agree that Floyd Landis is a very unethical guy but don't give him so much power. Cycling is such a beautiful sport, no one can destroy cycling, not even Floyd with his low life ethics.

  • finally, a good vid w/ decent music... i dont know a single TT3 rider that would even dare listen to that electronic crap

  • What is the name of this song? Who is sing it?

  • how fast are they goin?

  • They are all averaging about 28-30 mph on a hilly course.

Thats 400-490 watts depending upon your bodyweight.

ALL or almost ALL in that TT are fully-doped.

  • Primo won't increase hematocrite because is a DHT Base. EQ is the most famous steroid for increasing red blood cells. Check out Anabolics 2002 edition.

  • the song on this video is the worst song ive ever heard. if you could take a rectum and make it into music, it would sound like that. jesus christ why did you pick it?

  • What is the name of this song?

  • How long is this California race????????? How many miles?

  • all androgens will activate the receptors in your liver and increase hematocrit.

Thats true for all testosterone bases but not for DHT bases.

  • Who is singing the song on this video?

  • Yes but many do not see these gains in heamotocrit. EQ and primo also both may cause water weight gain in large enough doses to make that happen.

Te water retention may go to your lower back and muscles causing bloatation and stopping you dead.

  • I disagree. I have used EQ and didnt increase water retantion much(at least half convertion to estrogen as testosterone. Also you could use an AI like anastrazole, exemastane, letrozole). They are not bulking up so increase in lower back pain wont be a problem(this usually happen when you increase your weight fast).

  • what is the name of music in this video??

  • Go Oxyglobin!! Go Amgen, bipure, Northfield labs, etc etc!! Watch those motor vehicles screetch wound corners! Horner needs a pair of Raikonen's hard compound!!

  • This must have been the prequel to 'Floyd destroys his own career'.

  • this music is horrible ...

  • Horner can fuckin' corner. He's a great crit rider even if he is a sassy sweethearted wiseass.

  • song?

  • "More Human Than Human" by Rob Zombie on his album "Hellbilly Deluxe"

  • thanks.

  • where was this taken?

  • You cant be competitive clean, I talked to someone who tried to do it after his drug ban. I'd believe him before i believe you doofuses

  • To the man who said you can't compete clean? Please consider this if you take drugs they will give you a stage or 2 performance upgrade. The truth is once you stop taking the drugs because you get busted and you try to go clean it would be incredibly hard to get back to your previous potential. The problem is your body adjust for that chemical. If your putting EPO in your body through a needle; then your body stops producing its on EPO; Same with Creatine.

  • You dipp shits there's amatuer riders on drugs, 99% of pros are trippin. The drug testing isnt behind, its corrupt.

  • in most videos with dopers in them including this one, why does there have to be an uber arguement?

  • Shame floyd turned out to be a filthy drugs cheat!

  • No he didnt. so is Ullrich, Basso Pantani , Beloki,Rassmusen,Hamilton,Vino, Kasheschkin,Valverde, contador,Heras, and all the big asses domestics.. and who BTW got their their asses kicked by our beloved and clean Lance Armstrong.

  • I dont really see what your point is here?

Landis tested positive for Testosterone, appealed against it, and had the appeal turned down, therefore he's a filthy drugs cheat, along with all the other chumps you mentioned there.

Armstrong was one of the most tested athletes on the planet and never once failed a test. Clean until proven otherwise!

  • The point is..there's no way a clean guy can kick those afforementioned chumps asses by a WIDE MARGIN,there's just no way. Most tested? Rassmusen never tested positve. The most amusing thing is.. drug testers doesnt know what are the advantages of Actovegine but decided to banned it since it starts appearing during the olympics[WTF!].

That just shows that they are 10 steps behind.Just like BALCO CEO sez.."the front door is close, but back door is wide open".BTW I work at a ortho/pod clinic

  • we have patients who are Cat 1-2-3 even the masters that uses performance enhancing drugs [of course we cant divulge their name.. HIPPA violation]. WHAt more if you are competing at an elite international level.... clean? I dont think so.

  • If you're wondering why all of a sudden our dumb president is going after these highly paid dirtyass athletes... Is because of us in the health sector .. sounding the alarm.

  • I'd get a new job pal, who wants to be associated with druggies!?!?

Why can't a clean guy beat drug takers, ever thought he could just be a lot better than other people?

Are you saying that everyone who competes at an international level is a doper? If so thats a sorry state of affairs to be in.

Whats more, by watching this video, im guessing you have some interest in the sport, to which im lead to ask the question why bother if you think it's all one big sham!

  • Im a cyclist too, I dont race though I do a lot of century rides and some double century rides too , Yes I dont race ..That's why Im keeping my dayjob.. it only pays 80 grand a year, but Im happy. No, we're not trying to associate with druggies but it's our duty to treat their injuries [this is why we found out about their juiced-up blood]. It's a sham bro ...a sham and a shame.

  • "Are you saying that everyone who competes at an international level is a doper?" If we're going to name names.. we need more than 5 hundred characters. Yes, majority of international riders are dirty.

More fame ..more money...more money, more fame. operation Puerto is just a scratch in the surface. They're trying to bear this scandal till it shopworn in people's mind ..then again they would probe the weak spot on the rules ..just like what they during the early age of the sports.

  • He he's f'n right.

  • Yes the labs are ahead, but surely this isnt something to be proud of! What message does it send out to others.

Whats the point in anyone trying to make it to the top in cycling if they think everyone else is gonna be on drugs and cheating them out of their glory!

  • That's the Anti drug enforcer's point exactly.

  • Pokk, tu elis fentis? Neny foccici o metalfs.

  • Kewlios

  • Great skill to go downhill at those speeds on a TT bike.

  • but great floyd!!

  • floyd and dave are two good time trialer..but i prefer jan ullrich or the uncle lance!!

  • How fast do they get? Makes me feel slow at a push I can onlyu get like 30mph tops and about 18-20mph normal but I have a heavy saracen xray dirt bicycle.

  • pro cyclists average a little over 30mph for the long tt's.

  • Do the bikes they use really help them to get this speed? I mean on a heavy down hil bicycle or something they could not get that surely? Must be they have more gears, more aerodynamic and lighter bicycles?

  • the bike you mentioned in your first comment is very different from the bikes these guys are using. EVERYTHING on a tt bike is made to help these guys go fast. Wheels, positioning, helmets, handlebars. For comparison to your saracen, go google "bmc tt01" and look at the images. That's the bike Floyd rode.

  • Ok cheers, just one more question, with a racing bicycle or road bicycle will I find it easier to achive higher top speeds and also higher speed into the wind?

  • by FAR. go to a bike shop and hold a road bike in one hand, and a mountain bike in the other. then you tell me.

  • Nice, I'm happy with my current bike now, I just thought I was slow but it was my bike, on my Saracen in windy weather when its blowing me I got to 31mph with some effot put into it and can average 20mph some places but its usually about 18, happy now I know my bike is limiting me :).

  • @willhub no your legs are limiting your bike they are too weak lol....

  • @pilantra2000 A Saracen MTB is ALOT slower than a road bike. I'm not the best rider but I think 181 miles at 19-20mph average is respectable.

  • @willhub sorry i was under the impression, you rode a road bike, my bad for not reading the other comments, you are doing very well keeping that pace....

  • @pilantra2000 I was riding a MTB then, doing 181 miles at 19-20mph is on a road bike.

  • this looks like the course where I died

  • Muy bueno el video y más aún con la música de fondo un 7

  • I love the music for this video. Great video, I don't know about Floyd though..

  • Kewlios

  • Kewlios

  • Testosterone does help cyclists. btinder, if you knew anything about physiology you'd know that cyclists are among top athletes in the world.

  • i agree..

    if we must be technical..

testosterone universally has been used a build up drug a tranning drug..its also been detectable for nearly 30 years..i dont think landis took it because that would be like commiting suiside..also in this day and time testoserone is seen as archaic, cyclist are cardio atheltes and this is why epo and blood doping is far more common.

  • TESTOSTERONE JUNKIE!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thats like calling a ballerina a testosterone junkie, it doesn't help cyclists

  • what the hell man, do some research befor opening your chatter

  • Dang! What sh1t were u on? That trip gotta be good. lol

  • White zombie "More human than human"

  • what song is this? who's the singer?

  • White Zombie...not sure on the song.

  • The music is cool

  • What music is that?

  • cool video and music
