Qualità di voce men che modesta per volume e timbro, agilità niente di che, centri vuoti, piani oscillanti e a volte inudibili, il trillo, di qualunque specie, non esiste, gli acuti sono ingolati e per sovrappiù, tanto per fare "l'interprete", talvolta forza l'accento come una cantante verista, in un modo che già è volgare di suo, ma che per Mozart è un abbominio.

My favorite french opera singer is Emma Shapplin,she was the reason i started studying singing.While this woman has a fantastic voice,Emma sings with an emotion that is just breath taking...I highly recommend you listen to her.

OH please, Emma Shapplin can barely sing, let alone show emotion. Petibon is blessed with a great voice and her technique is fantastic, not to talk about knowing her pieces thoroughly and possessing natural and creative musical talent and flair.

Well, I must admit I hardly understand your comment : in addition to have a God given singing voice, Patricia Petibon is one of the most expressive current sopranos. This aria's no exception : can't you see, hear and feel the drama from the first to the last note ? I don't recall ever hearing a soprano putting so much emotion in this aria.

Raphael, put more records of Patrícia Petibon. i love her so much. Unafortunally, the only place that i found the new work's her is in the French Amazon, much more expensive than the american. So, put something more, while i wait the works come to more near than me. Thanks.
