These things need to have a ban - there's no controversy, they don't work and are unsafe.
I work in the waiting lists department of a hospital and can tell you that people have had was deposited in the ear, sometimes so deep, moulding to the shape of the cavity, that surgery has been required to remove it.
Candling doesn't need to be ban... its suppose to be done by a licensed professional in a safe, controlled environment. They're suppose to have their ear drum checked by the SAME instruments and tools used in hospitals before proceeding. They DO work. They ARE dangerous. They should be banned for 'at home use.'
She's doing it wrong. They work.

@ixjezabelxi They do NOT work at removing wax from ears. That wax is really from the burning candle.
