what you saying means that even though some games don't appeal to all audiences (e.g, halo does not appeal to casual gamers, and mario galaxy does not appeal to FPS fans), that means that they are bad. it does not mean that in any possibe way.

@bulby1994 It makes perfect sense. Metroid: Other M is mediocre in about EVERY way. No audience can appreciate it except the diehard Metroid fans. You, of course, are an exception. Unless a game is completely abysmal, there's always going to be A FEW people who enjoy it who aren't diehard fans.

Other M is anything but challenging (unless the clunky controls count). Not only are there checkpoints EVERYWHERE, but you can refill your health & missiles simply by pointing up & holding A for 3 seconds

Reviews take a lot of time and effort for those of us who actually FINISH the games before we write them. The problem X-play is the lack of details they present, something reviewers like myself and many others feel are more important than being funny.

I love the show, but not when seriously considering game purchases.

I think you need to turn on both controllers since the Wii menu (when you turn on the Wii). That's what I did last night to play on party mode (just 2 people), and we had the two controllers working. If that doesn't work, maybe you just need to sincronize both controllers with the red button the Wii has, also in the Wii menu I think. THE GAME IS EXTREMELLY FUN! I CRIED LAUGHING WHILE PLAYING THIS. DID NOT THINK IT WAS GOING TO BE THIS AWESOME!!

Gaming isn't all about gore filled, M rated, high graphical action. There are other genres that can be good as well. I don't like to see hardcore gamers shun casual games just because they prefer hardcore ones. Casual games create new gamers and those new gamers may warm up to hardcore ones later.

This game may sound....stupid or not good. But I spent an hour making a city/zombiez/dominoes on Create mode once. and then i watched it crumble after throwing a few well-placed balls. Just enjoy it for what it is. A silly, fun game.
