@primitivepathways I've lived for two years in southern Italy. And that place is way hotter than southern U.S. We measured 50 degrees Celsius in the shade. I ALWAYS kept a white shirt on. Why? Because A: It reflects heat B: It protects you from the sun C: It protects you from mosquitoes. It's pretty obvious you're trying to show off your muscles. A tip though: Starve yourself for a while, and your muscles will be more visible. (Unless you want the whole big guy thing.)
@ChetzNation I have to disagree with you on the heat issue. I live in North Texas where we always get over 100F for the whole summer. Unlike other parts of the south we don't have many trees at all to shade us from the sun. What we have that Italy doesn't have is the outrageous humidity. Dryer climates don't feel as hot as humid climates. The heat index is the true temperature. So when we get 107F + 50% humidity it's actually more like 120F. Summer here means to be covered in sweat.

@jaredj631 Well you have a point about the humidity. But from experience, high humidity+heat=large amounts of insects. Which again means you should wear a shirt, or mosquito repellent. Or both.
@Xc31 It's not a 100% safe protection, but unless you wear a super tight shirt, it will move around a lot, creating air pockets between your shirt and your skin. That, alongside the fact that mosquitoes are less attracted to covered up skin, alongside the fact that it's twice as difficult for a mosquito to penetrate a shirt, means you really do want to keep that shirt on. Especially in a place full of dragonflies who feed on tiny insects such as mosquitoes, which means there's a lot of those too

Nice video. Since you know your handicraft I wanted to ask you a question regarding archery. Is it true that you can hurt yourself and harm your muscles and joints with archery? Should I look for an instructor who teaches me archery or can I learn it myself? What do you say?

I might try a lite dusting of flour after an egg bath the fry to keep the wings crispy. Butter milk works well but only for the larger size. An orange marinade and celontro work on the smaller.

Problem with hunting dragonflies is it's going to bump up the mosquito population. Maybe shoot a non-beneficial bug instead?
The summer before Katrina hit, my area (I'm in the SE US) was, I don't wanna say "overrun", but we had WAY more dragonflies than previous summers. Sometimes the bug/animal world can tell us stuff our most-of-the-time-horribly-wrong meteorologists cant.

If you can get this close to a dragonfly then no doubt you will never starve in the wild!! Nice job! Never eaten dragon fly before any tips on cooking methods? I might try a lite dusting of flour after an egg bath the fry to keep the wings crispy. Butter milk works well but only for the larger size. An orange marinade and celontro work on the smaller.

stop heckling people because you have to use a compound to hit anything, and anyone can point a gun and pull a trigger... technically compounds arent even bows because they don't "bow," they have cams that take the weight off the string and then the string propels the arrow. technically a compound "bow" is really a compound sling shot. Compound archery is the only sport you can blame your equipment on for sucking. and thats sad

you oviously don't know what primative archery is. Believe it or not a "LONGBOW" say it with me now L O N G B O W! Is a primative weapon. some of the earlist evidence of bows ever discovered were fozilized into stone. The oldest real bows that were ever uncovered were dated to the 100 years war from a sunken ship. his bow is clearly primative because it IS hand made and it dosent have an arrow rest so you must fire from your finger. that bow is primative...
