are the new borns eye-lids suppose to develop over a weeks time or some thing? b/c my new borns both just about 2 days old look like there eyes wont shut and idk if there lids are the same color of there eyes and just apear that way or what. if you can help me i would appreciate it....... and thank you alot. and they are my first ones to hatch so idk what they look like when they come out.

The babies should look like small adults. There should be no difference. Geckos do not blink to rid debris from their eyes. They use their tongue and can lick their eyes. They can close their eyes, and their 'eyelid' should look like a white 'ridge' of skin over the top of the eye.

You can google image fat tail geckos to see what the eyes should look like. But, if you have adults, they should be the same.

one more thing how do u incubate your eggs and at what lvl of humidity.......... if that sounds right :)

i heard the incubator should be like 74-80 degrees(it depends on how fast you want your eggs to hatch) and the humidity should be like 70% i think.

It is most likely bad. There is a small possibility that it is ok.

if the egg has mold on it (just the egg shell) dose that mean it dead or dose it mean that the eggs just had water sitting on it to long from condensation ( and its all good ) ty

Once the egg starts to hatch, it takes about a couple hours max. I keep the eggs in deli cups with damp vermiculite. There is very little water in the cup.  There are no air holes, but I open the cups once a week for air exchange. If the eggs start to sink in, add a tiny bit of water. If they are getting moldy then you have too much water.

srry but how long did it take to hatch from when it first broke the egg

my egg has the geckos nose sticking out a little. about four days it taken that long for that and the egg has moved a little one or two times and its only been about 1/2 months

It takes about 2 months, but it depends on the incubation temperature. I never throw away eggs unless they are completely sunken in and moldy. I have had quite a few eggs hatch a long time after their "expected hatch date".
