Yes. I admit I should be practicing my faith more often, I'm an Adventist but not a really devout one. In fact there a some things I completely agree with Adventism and some things I disagree, one being the papacy being antichrist. I look at it as discrimination and offensive to others who grew up in the Catholic faith. However I'm scared to ever leave my church since they indulge the fear of burning if you don't keep the sabbath.

At least that's all I get from it. Even one time when I mentioned to my pastor that my mom is Eastern Orthodox he stated that she could be doomed. That is what I don't like about Adventism. My girlfriend is Baptist and she goes to church on Sunday. She's a really strong devout Christian but why should she have to suffer hell fire all because she wasn't worshiping on the right day? I agree with what you're saying. But almost all athiest I've ever met do nothing but bash people's beliefs and label Christians as fools who believe in sky fairies. They stereotype Christians too and make such remarks as "if there were no religion in the world there would be no wars." or "Religion is the root of all evil" When they go around condemning people who believe in something and have great disrespect that pinches my nerves. Yes. I admit I should be practicing my faith more often, I'm an Adventist but not a really devout one. In fact there a some things I completely agree with Adventism and some things I disagree, one being the papacy being antichrist. I look at it as discrimination and offensive to others who grew up in the Catholic faith. However I'm scared to ever leave my church since they indulge the fear of burning if you don't keep the sabbath.

They don't hunt you down and burn you, they just believe God judges people on whether or not they have kept the Sabbath and they sort of believe that your ticket to salvation is keeping the sabbath. At least that's all I get from it. That's why we're condemned if we leave the church and they do pray that you may find the truth once again but they also shun all people who leave the Adventist church so they don't act to kindly to Sunday worshipers.

Even one time when I mentioned to my pastor that my mom is Eastern Orthodox he stated that she could be doomed. That is what I don't like about Adventism. My girlfriend is Baptist and she goes to church on Sunday. She's a really strong devout Christian but why should she have to suffer hell fire all because she wasn't worshiping on the right day? She goes to church more than I do.

I agree with what you're saying. But almost all athiest I've ever met do nothing but bash people's beliefs and label Christians as fools who believe in sky fairies. They stereotype Christians too and make such remarks as "if there were no religion in the world there would be no wars." or "Religion is the root of all evil" When they go around condemning people who believe in something and have great disrespect that pinches my nerves. They're all over youtube commenting on religious videos.

O tell me about it, I go to collage, while most of the people there are christian, many of the philosophy professors are not and try to beat a bit of the skeptical athiest agenda into their students, the religious studies department sposored by teh pholosopy department they are all christian, on is a libberal christian , one sweedish lutheran, and one is baptist. two specialize in islam as their reserch, and the other theology in the american civil rights movment of the last century.

Yeah I must say that I hate it when atheist push their buttons and challenge the faith of others but then again we all go through challenges in life and we're all thrown questions at we just got to know the right answers in which we can respond. That's why it's important to be at a decent level with God and understand your beliefs otherwise you'll end up questioning your own views and doubting your own beliefs. It's sad that a lot of RC aren't so spiritual these days.

I had a girlfriend 4 years ago who was Catholic and all she knew was that her parents told her she's Catholic lol. It's pretty sad when you think of it. All the athiest that I know were born and raised Catholic too that is just the Catholic label, never did they ever attend Church or mass. So many young people these days neglecting truth.

The translation for church should be ecclesia. Look it up. God never spoke of a brick and mortar church people. The Greek world Ecclesia does not mean church. So there never was a true church only a true gathering in Christ. Those that are called out of the mist are the true church that God speaks of. Listen to man and be in error! Great video. To me the anti christ is not one person but is symbolic, a priest once told me the anti christ is not a figure, but was all the world that was not part of christianity, that tried to kill it, the emperors of rome, the evil acts of the Devil, and all that actively went aganst the early church. Also that in revelation the book was based on a vison of one of the apostle johns followers, it was what was going on during their current time, back then, it is not something telling the future.

FOr all to know, before there was protestentism, there was the Eastern and western church. the Orthadox broke around the 11,000's but belived much of the same things that the Roman church did. the protestents around 15the century. Before that you have eleven centries of what was considered christianity. and not all acted well in its name on earth. Just so you know. the Witnesses started in the 1800's from a baptist preacher who was kicked out of his church for changing the bible. Salvation is not about the heart. If you don't confess that Christ is the lord God, and believe it in your heart then you are not saved. Christ said those words exactly. Question.
