You cant make front on contact anymore, the head is meant to be sacrosanct. Waters is very lucky. This is not too dissimiliar to the Lloyd bump on Sewell a few years back and Lloyd got 4 weeks. I would like to see more hips and shoulders let go but the AFL cant allow that because repitive concussions are good for no-one.

He had the ball in his hands for 0.3 of a SECOND! If he were to tackle him he would of been going for the man, because he would of made his mind up way before that. He obviously didn't do that because if Watson didn't get the ball he'd be done for holding the man. Justice served as it was thrown out, as it should have been, finally ONE correct decision from the AFL this year.

beau played for the ball, and once watson had it, glanced away to brace for unavoidable contact. and he WAS going for the tackle, his left hand slaps watson on the hip, and its only because he pulls out that he doesn't wrap around watson.

watson dropped his head to pick up the ball, he just didn't raise it back up quickly enough.

watson didn't deserve it, but waters didn't do anything wrong.
