In a so-called democracy government is suppose to do the will of the people. It seems like the majority wants retirement kept at 60 but a minority in government want to push it to 62 and have succeeded in doing so. Democracy failed.

LOL what protesters don't seem to understand is once the costs are completely analyzed, they will have the right to justify stiffer response in the future. Not to say there isn't a place for protest, but this was an over reaction for sure. BooHoo people work 2 more years and still get to retire 3 years earlier than workers in the USA.

It's like saying we have shit working conditions, they have slightly better they shouldn't have better than us, fuck them...when it makes sense to say hang on why haven't we got their conditions, why don't we fight for what they have, and when the time comes fight with them and support them. After all, they are workers' and we are workers'. Understand? Other workers' are not the enemy.

Thing is the French have an unrealistic view of how their work benefits should be, and that's why they'll never be happy. My advice; man up France!
