The 49ers are looking to change the uniforms for 2009! I guess the current ones have gotten too dated for some or just symbolic of not winnging a SB with them. Some people want the classic '80's uniform, while some others want the 50's throwback that the '94 niners used in SB 29. There was talk of using using elements of past uni's like the NYG road jersey or the Yankess. I just know that I probably wouldn't go back to the '80's jersey as it's to simple today. Maybe make it a Road jersey.

I would like to keep these jersey's and logo, but the gold pants have to go. Honestly, I was never a real fan of them when they came back in '98. I don't dig the shinny pants at all as it looks like they shit themselves. They should have just kept it as it was when they were brought out in '96. Or better yet, just bring out the classic '94 throwbacks that many of us love. Maybe even add the old 49er shield and THE CITY in it or below the collar.

Aikman is another person who took too many blows to the head and seems to be working just fine. The thing Young points to as main reason he left was the new owners who told Steve that they were looking to rebuild and go another direction. He said he was too old to start with another team and too proud to endure a lossing season under rebuilding.
