The officer was suspended without pay. The charges against the cameraman were dropped and he then filed a lawsuit against the police dept. I couldn't find any more info on what happened with the lawsuit or if the cop was put back on the streets.

As a 26 year LE officer I would love to see the camera man file assault charges against the officer as well as suing him to the point that his great grandkids will need attorneys. Hell I have been filmed MAY times in the course of my career, it never bothered me. why? Because I always did what was right and within the law. This man did nothing wrong.

Well for those that are with me on this and for those that support officers in what they do... It's not about being racial whites, blacks, browns, it doesn't matter when law enforcement hires the wrong people these things happen, the state believes that when you have perfect credit you're a perfect person and thus hires these people as officers regardless if they have a criminal record or a record of violence as time goes by officers will even have the right to enter your home without a warrant

The officer was suspended without pay. The charges against the cameraman were dropped and he then filed a lawsuit against the police dept. I couldn't find any more info on what happened with the lawsuit or if the cop was put back on the streets.
