@watto958 as a jamaican myself I know why people clapped. Whenever we land in our distination we always clap to thank god and the pilot for bringing us down safely
Smooth as silk, couldn't even tell until the spoilers went up that the plane was on the ground. The pilots did a great job as usual because this is the norm for Air Jamaica pilots.
to be honest when some1 does something u cant do its normally clapping material. If i were to do a 360 between my legs dunk u would clap. This is probably harder? hmm maybe not
well even for the most experienced passenger, you know when you descend through and experience all the crosswind and updrafts, not to mention the stomach lifting effect of the occasional fall of the plane to finally feeel good when you touch down....so thats probably why.
Nice video..I heard a little bit of clapping in the background though---I can never understand why some people clap when the pilots do what they are supposed to do.
I dont kno too, but from experience i hav done it also, why? i dont know....its just maybe they missed the ground.... i don kno really but being in an aircraft for um. say 12 hours with all dat turbulence behind..chh i would clap too..
I agree. Hey, I'm an electrician and no one ever clapped when I finally switched on a light I had just wired up. lol Maybe it's because of the tension felt by nervous passengers when they finally realise they are safely on the ground. lol
