Well, you won't find anything long-term in Free 2 Play games... Not in my experience anyhow.

You should look into Mortal Online. It's still in developement, but it really is going to be a fantastic MMO.

I'm going to have to disagree with you. Maple Story is 100% free. Yes, there's a cash shop, but you don't have to use it; Also the game is very much so a long term game you can play, and very fun. =) also games that are pfg(pay for game) for f2p is very much so long term. I'd recommend looking into new games being developed by Blizzard, Starcraft II, and Diablo III.

Playing any F2P game that employs a Cash Shop as the only source of revenue, it would only be wise to go in fully expecting the ones running the service to do whatever it takes to make enough profit off of any and all titles they provide.

Aeria Games does what they feel necessary to keep their service profitable, while still remaining free. If people are losing characters and such because of this, it's a real damn shame, but it's still a free game and you still agreed to the fine print.

i used to play this game but it was hard for me 2 do the control. when i speak i cant move i have to click instead of using asd or arrow keys i think and i get this mixed up color screen everytime i turn the camera in some point of view -.- but its very fun i love it =D

A Sprite Hunter would be fine. As a matter of fact, races don't have any effect on stats or anything other than appearances. So, you can be whatever race you want and not have to worry about missing out on anything, really.

Nice! Well, Doctor's are in high demand, but you can always take Doctor as a subjob for your Thief, but your heals just won't be as great.

Hunter, Thief, Swordsman, Martial Artist, Doctor, Shaman, Wizard, and Musician for the time being. Hopefully Dancer will be reimplemented soon. However, there is no set date for any [re]implementation of any classes not already in game, so it could be a while before we see any of those.
