  • This bitch is messed up!

  • 2:22 look in the backround. lol.

  • It is great video of learning about human anatomy. Great job.

  • creepy chick, but would make a great wife for a serial killer!

  • Some parents makes their children feel guilty because they're insterested in things different to their own interests or different to those wich are "normal", like those teached in school. Parents like hers are a real blessing to the intelectual (and emotional) development of a child.

honestly, how do you believe we have some knowledge of anatomy? . On the other hand, I don't think than the "respect" a dead person deserves is to be enclosed in a box and become useless even for the nature

  • LOL. That's like saying I've always loved people....I've always loved them dead or alive.

  • sick.

  • keep it up i agree with the philosophy :)

  • Why the fuck would you take a pictuer of a dead human? Did they frame it and put in on the wall?

  • @FAB12UCB She explained that photography was expensive in the 1800's, so people didn't have a lot of pictures. If they didn't have a picture of the child alive, they would scrounge up whatever funds they had to have a picture made before the burial, so that they can better remember the child and also as confirmation that the person is actually dead.

  • What a fucking weird woman. Who likes death?

  • ... my name is Joanna.. I creeped out for a minute there.

  • I want my parents to give me jar of formaldehyde! I always wanted one since I entered highschool. But instead they get grossed out at seeing me watching anatomy dissection.

You Sir had a very Fortunate parents. T.T

  • this is a lovely room of death

  • Some people clearly don't have much respect for the dead. Like this woman.

  • @spongebo13

and people who eat farm meat :D

  • I can't sleep

  • 3:10 gentelmens collectables???? Sounds like necrophelia to me.

  • tego cuantro mese que no me diega mi rasion que lepaso ala persona que no leyiga la me rasion ami cuando tenia 15 ano merava mucho pera no tato pero ahora si porque yo estoi amarada

  • Everyone should explore their awareness of life and death equally to have a better understanding of it. I believe these days death ideals are left unsaid because people automatically assumes one is weird, strange, depressed, Gothic, etc. Like a stereotyped, labeled society. It is very closed-minded.

  • "Beautifully sexual objects"

    Necro much?

  • ugly redheaded ginger ..they are all bleeders...anyone in the med profession will tell you...and emotionally a pain in the fucking arse ,the lot of 'em...Gemma

  • In my opinion it should be "morbidity" not morbid

  • Begone with you, Necromancer!

  • this is shit i was looking autopsy vids and end up watching this crap i could make a hamburguer with those animals some BK o:

  • freaky bro

  • Fascinating how people are so disturbed. Think about it, all it is are parts of the biological machines we operate. The only reason we find them "gross" is because they are jam packed with bacteria that can be harmful, so our body wants us to avoid it to prevent ourselves from getting sick. Hence the "gross" feeling. Hence the wanting to vomit - because our brain feels we may have been contaminated with the dead biological tissue.

  • waht a crazy bich

  • wtf kind of dad wants his kid to keep dead animals in jars? creepy parenting bro

  • @HumanitySuffer

    The Janitor from Scrubs, maybe?

  • @ita14 lol

  • @HumanitySuffer I'd prefer that than parents that encourage their kids to study drama or something where they will go no where ! Or even worse.....do nothing at all !

  • @HumanitySuffer I keep dead animals in jars?lol

  • @HumanitySuffer one that supports their kids interests. a good parent supports their child

  • we don't see anymore... well shit, I had impetigo when I was a kid, that wasn't that long ago either...

  • This was really cool. Reminds me of necromance on the sunset strip.

  • The hell with the artsy-fartsy, hipster interest with death, we're all heading there anyways and NO ONE knows what it will entail. Peace.

  • yeah happy birthday have some fermaldihide! now you can dip dead animals in it and keep it!

  • @TheSlyFox16 This video depressed me so much. We're all going down the same road.

  • Get and meet be naughty female benaughtyman.info

  • "gentlemens' collectibles"

  • The girl sounds more like a psycho.

  • nice find, very interesting indeed

  • Very interesting Ella :)

Did you see the Bodies exhibition in Manhattan? Don't know if it's still running (I was there earlier in the year) but it was fascinating I thought.

  • FAR OUT! i would so be eligable to run that place :D

  • "I've always really loved animals.. and I've loved them dead or alive"

Oh my, look at the time.. I have.. a thing to do.. somewhere else. Bye. *flee*

  • Oh my gosh, when I go to NY, I definately need to go there! 8D

  • rocketboooom!...where's elmo? :D

  • Interesting video, interesting museum. In our youth-obsessed, health-obsessed culture, no wonder there are so many comments calling it "sick." Death has become taboo--which, as Robert Heinlein noted, only primitive cultures have. (Humans have never been civilized.) Although I am not religious, I have to wonder if widespread loss of a belief in an afterlife is the reason for our taboos on death and disfiguring illness. Anyway, fascinating! This "Comments" column is an exhibit in itself.

  • Morbid curiosity at its finest!

  • rIca difuNtitA PEPOMA

  • is the lady on 0:13 real?

  • whoa, interesting, creepy...

  • Amazing! Very Interesting!

  • why is this on rocketboom?

with all respect, I didn't expect a museum tour from this channel...

  • that was so cool :l

  • LOL good job ran

  • facinating. Although, do you realise that it was a wax model in that glass case, Ran1765?

  • Comment removed

  • Gowanas brooklyn i know the area im off to see this exhibit. O yea!

  • Watch my VID!

    for free stuff<3

  • wow, that place seems super cool, yet creepy at the same time...but I would still love to go there. I love how well they preserve the body.

  • this is a sadist

  • Those post-mortem photos are really creepy. Especially the children ones.

  • Man I'd love to go there, that's just awesome!

  • very very interesting

  • A little disturbing.

  • I think if I toured this place I would shit myself lol. And what is up with this chick and dead animals shes like tom green but with the dead ones scary who the hell picks up dead animals unless its a yummy dear or chicken lol

  • all i can say is wow

  • urgh

  • I assure you, there is an R in there! I majored in English at college and cannot abide the exclusion of vital consonants. Perhaps it is my accent.

  • Macabre, but fascinating.

  • thats kind of awesome.

  • ooh, that's cool

  • that's some messed up shit

  • I'd like to visit that museum too.

  • sick minded individual

  • This chick had a baaad up bringing.

  • How do you know that? Why would you assume that, because she has an interest in something other than what is the norm? Death is inevitable, why fear it or be disgusted by it?

  • Because she said her father encouraged her as a small child to pick up dead animals, which is kind of disgusting because of rigor mortis and the fact that kids who have that kind of childhood are more likely to murder someone. Only that.

Don't judge be on a joke, please.

  • that chick is hot

  • the red head?

  • yeah

  • As odd as this is, it kind of interests me..

I'd like to visit this museum.. But I'm across the pond, unfortunately. TT^TT

  • Wow....i find myself wanting to visit that place

  • Well, this isn't creepy at all.

  • didn't see Elmo in there.

  • It might seem creepy, but I'm really interested in this sorta thing. I think death is beautiful and i'd love to be a death-related artist.

  • @kathleenblueeyes

    there are a TON

    (on teh interwebz)

  • awesome

  • art

  • I think at least one of the pictures in the photobook was used in the movie "The Others"

  • OH! I think I saw that! Was it the movie with the book of all the dead people, and the lady was wondering what was going on, and then she found out the people in the photographs were dead?

  • Didn`t they do the same thing in The Orphanage?

  • what father wants his daughter to do things like this?

    just imagen:

'Wheres ur favorite stuffed animal, dear??'

'Oh, it's the dead cat on my shelf mommy. It was still alive yesterday, isn't it cuute?'

'Why yes ... it is ... Do you have a favorite book you'd like me to read for you?'

'Yes I do have one ... it's the big, black book with the pictures of dead people in it :D ... It's right next to grandma on the bench ... and I almost forgot to tell you that she died 4 days ago ... hmmm' =)

  • that was very interesting!

  • gross... i almost spewed my breakfast

  • This video makes my skin crawl.........eeeerrhh

  • when Ella saw that book, her face was like "WTF?!"

  • Odd video, but very interesting.

  • I don't wanna diiie!!!

  • Totally had to disassociate what i was eating from what I was watching. With all these people eating while they watch i think Some relatively easy to make food should advertise on Rocketboom.

"Rocketboom is brought to you today by 'Shitty-Pizza'. It's fast it's easy, you shrug, say fuck it, nuke it for 2 and there it is. Sure it's shitty, but it took 2 minutes, we're honest and it's pizza. Fuck you. Buy 6 today! 'Shitty-pizza'."

  • ljbhjklhbn

  • I ate when i watched this... :3

  • She is 1 sick person, i don't judge.......

  • very good last words.

    Thanks Ella!

  • Shockingly strange O.o

  • I love the host she has a wonderful aura.

  • i really want to go there

  • i like molly more but this girl is pretty good with more serious topics.

  • Eeep. I'm very much squeamish so I had to just listen to the video and not look at the video xD Interesting, though!

  • Dude I'm eating sushi right now so this is kind brutal. Then again I used to pick up and transport cadavers from their former residences to mortuaries for a summer job, so it's not too bad.

  • gentlemen's collectibles, more like necrophiliac collectibles lol

  • I'm fascinated by death :D

    faved this video!

I had no idea there was a museum for this type of thing!

    MUST SEE!

  • nasty, wicked, but fascinating

  • This is a really interesting topic, I'd like to visit that place one day.

It's a mix of my favorite topics: art and science!

And whoever is trying to get this video flagged is a complete douche that doesn't appreciate the meaning behind death.

  • You're right, Non-Molly did a great job with this video. I found it very interesting. And people should visit places like that sometimes, so they quit being arrogant, this is what we are underneath our skins, or are gonna be... Unless you were cremated lol.

  • I would disagree that there is a meaning behind it, it is what it is and it will always be that way.

  • i'd rather not contemplate death in my day to day life... i know i'm gunna die and i'm not afraid... but why bother wasting time thinking about it while i'm alive?

  • nice job i like this piece

  • by looking at the comments, i feel like the freak that does not find this interesting. :s

  • Woah creepy dad. xD

    Weird place. But neat.

  • Freaky.

  • interesting

  • Wow I would have loved to know about this when I was going through my morbid phase. But to be honest it hasn't so much ended as I've hidden it because as a teenager you don't mind being weird, but as you get older sometimes it makes things difficult. I'd still love to visit this place.

  • 2:07, i've seen several pictures of that before :\.. quite scary

  • so flippin' cool. wish i could see this stuff in person.

  • Yep, it's amazing how they mix science and art...

  • interesting video.

  • Very interesting! I'll be in NYC in May during my holiday I'm taking and I'm looking right now for things to do and places to see, so I might check this place out. Thanks :)

  • @ForcheAlex

It's a good thing you made a comment about it. Nobody would have noticed otherwise.

  • @StevoDesign I'll just explain myself, I had subbed to Rocketboom for the knowyourmeme vids, not for disgusting stuff like this. I just wanted to say that, goodbye RB.

  • @ForcheAlex I did too, actually. The difference is I don't find an interest in reality to be disgusting.

  • Morbid indeed

  • Fascinating stuff!

Thanks to Ella and Rocketboom for showing us this! Not the kind of thing I would usually get to hear about otherwise. :)

  • 4:37

    Nice rap

  • lmfao

  • Also, does this place have a gift shop?

  • Would you recommend this a first-date or a second-date destination?

  • "Lie-berry" at 0:01.

    Now I can't continue watching.

  • My Rs are very subtle! I swear it's in there.

  • Hmmm okay... I'll try to find it. Make sure your berries are truthful in future though.

  • wicked

  • with all due respect... that woman's child hood was very f*cked up....

  • @kayla2141106 Totally agree.

  • I agree. It reminds me of that movie "Frailty"

  • And you know this how?

  • she said that when she was younger, her father told her to grab dead animal and she did it and put them in a jar to conserve them... and she liked that... is all with respect but would you do that when you where like 6 years old...

  • i never want IMPETIGO AHHHHH scary

  • @weeandy2008 Kids get impetigo all the time. So do athletes. It's no big deal anymore. Daily washing and antibiotics clear it right up before it gets that bad. Up until the late 1800's, most people (including doctors) laughed at the idea that germs--something too small to see--could cause disease.

  • That's neat o: I think it's good that some people are open about death and can actually use it as an art. As long as the families or the deceased is okay with it, then I'm all for it.

  • Strong of you Rocketboom! Please dont turn into a watered down E! television because of some whiny comments. Stay unflinching, bold and brave!

  • that girl who runs the library seems really, really odd and really, really interesting at the same time

  • i saw Body Worlds once i found it facinating

  • Wierd science?

What stands out is that something is missing. Memories of a person see them as alive.

  • GTFO......pussy

  • Wow that looks so amazing, I have always loved stuff like this! I want to go!!! How incredible!

  • Get a life.

  • This is how MOST serial killers start out. Being fascinated with death and experimenting on animals as a child... watch this chick.

  • oh, very interesting. and when i really think about it, death for us is just the funeral, people like to try and forget about it after that

  • hm. fascinating. i know where i'm going spring break.

  • Interesting, I like the idea of removing the taboo from the topic of death. It's all around us, so we should finally accept it for what it is, a part of the life.

  • what a little creep, "I like dead animals"

  • Bleurgh. Scary shit. It's not a place I'd like to visit much, but it's interesting. I once went to a place like this in Portugal when I was young, gave me some weird dreams I can tell you!
