Actually, the Dead Sea Scrolls don't mention Jesus at all. It's a big misconception that they're Christian documents. They are entirely Jewish.

I totally agree that humans have always been worshipping idols. However, before humans invented any gods, they were obviously worshipping themselves. That's nature.
