Wow, I went there in 85-86. Man, was I glad to get out. I was a boarding Cadet and the conditions were just sad. No air conditioning and plebe period sucked. I did manage to have some fun times like down at the river. There was an old dam that we used to climb all over. I even jumped off it to the river. Smoked alot of pot.
lol its still pretty small now. but ive never heard of an officer cantenna wish they had it when i was an officer there though. and we go down to the river a good bit fishing and swimming
Hey,do you guys still use Brasso? And do the new guy's still have to hit the wall for officers?Back in 1973 we did.I had a 71 Dodge Dart used to park it in the lot behind the barracks. That car got me in trouble with the cops there once. The old jail was very small also.
I'm far away from all this now, but back then I got one guy a promotion for going across the street and getting himself a mohawk hair cut. Used to put butter on the floor to make it shine untill officer fell on his ass during inspection. Ah 1973 those where the days.
Took Mary down by the river near G.M.C. for a little picnic and she slip and fell in that muddy red Georgia clay. I still remember it like it was yesterday. What ever happend to that girl? Took my uniform to the dry cleaners and the lady ask me, how did Mary get so muddy? Milledgeville was a real small town in 73. Ha,ha.
@ENCOMAN I know its been a while since you posted your comments but you seem like a sentimental guy like I am. I remember my 2 years at GMC like it was yesterday. We used slide down those red clay banks into the river and climb all over that dam. Man I did some crazy stuff there and really had a ball.
GMC was a cool place but it wasnt the nicest place place to send a 13 year old Yankee from CT.
@marcusdolby1 I was 15-16 when I went 72-73. it wasn't nice and no air cond. in the barracks back then either but we made the best out of it. I still have old pictures. Funny reading your post, I did the same stuff back then also.
If this is the old baracks at GMC man what memories.I lived there in 1973&74 Messhall in the basement? I used to have a confederate flag for curtains. Can you still do that?or is it Politicly incorect?Raised alot of hell there for two little years.used to walk across town with my 22cal rifel on my sholder and go shoot in the forest.Someone please tell me what it like now,Thanks.
It doesnt sound as awesome as your time period but it is still a good place making friends at the VH. we were the last class to go through the old baracks they tore them down this year. its more strict now from the sounds of it and there is no more confederate flags cant hang anything up now actually
this is FAKE! i got to George Washington Military College. this is fake! for 1. you are forbidden fron having any type of electronics unless specified other wise by your captain, 2. any civil clothing is forbidden unless specified other wise by your captain, 3. the hallways do not look like that. THIS VIDEO IS A COMPLETE FAKE.
Well Mr. George Washington Military college, I assure you this is real. They are real cadets and that was our real crappy barracks. No CGI here 100% real.
On another note, even my buddy at West Point could have electronics after some time. Now I know as well as anyone that Georgia is the Special Ed. Of military colleges, but I know for a fact that other military college students get to wear civies after final formation. Your Military college must have been just too hard core for words you steely eyed killer you.
@airborneinfantry86 Hell Yea im an Army Cadet at Norwich University: Military College of Vermont and after your ROOK year (1st year) you are allowed pretty much all electronics besides a TV or XBOX that comes Jr. year George Washington was a slave beater/raper anyway lol
Dude I googled George Washington Military College and it came up with NOTHING. So, if your school is indeed real, quit talking crap because their school is better than yours. I go to a military college as well, and we have plenty of time to fuck around, wear civies if we have priveleges, etc.
haha i love it man and yeah they would have time for this crap i did when i was at military school .... wish we were smart enough to make a good video like this one ... Hargrave Military Academy for me .. hbu
I don't know what kind of prison camp military school you went to, but us punks defiantly were allowed to have civie clothes and cameras. Georgia Military College was not exactly the most "hard core" military college out there, but if you type in the names of any other big name military school you will find similar stupid videos.
