Brings back memories..... late night friday, wrapped in a blanket, eating junk food, scared out of my mind in my hometown of Muncie, Indiana!! Yeah, those were good times.
Brings back memories..... late night friday, wrapped in a blanket, eating junk food, scared out of my mind in my hometown of Muncie, Indiana!! Yeah, those were good times.
imagine what conversations would be like when this guy came home from work..."Hi honey, what did you do at work today."..."Well, honey I creeped out little kids on television.".
what memories!!! Chatting with a fellow '78 classmate in Chicago and I'm in Arizona remembering the Sammy Terry moments on WTTV in Lebanon, Indiana. Thanks for the great scares!
its been about 20 years since ive seen sammy terry on t.v. I am a huge horror enthusiast today and have been for quite some time. there isnt much that makes my skin crawl. but finding sammy today brought back some chilling memories. forcing myself to stay awake on friday nights. then finding it hard to sleep after. to me, bob is an indiana....american icon. now if you will excuse me. im going to buy as much sammy terry footage as i can find. thank you Bob.
Bob Carter (Sammy Terry) owened the Family Music center that use to be on N. Shadeland Ave in Indianapolis! He is a good man. Find the clip when he had Chuck Calahan! That clip was Good! No body but No Body! haha
this is one of my favorites of my child hood. me and my brother tom who was eight years older than me staded up on fridaynights just to watch and eat junk food. im 47 years old now and my brother tom has passed away. im so glad these videos are here for all us baby boomers to enjoy.
Thanks for posting this. Too bad the young kids today don't have something like this to watch these days...truly a long-gone era. It was fun to force yourself to stay up late to watch Sammy and the great flicks he used to show.
I watched him with my Dad from the time I was like four! LOL When I spent the night with my cousins, my uncle used to jump out of the hall and laugh just like him and scare us all half to death. It was a riot. We miss you Sammy!!!!!
This is OLD SCHOOL horror host programming! One episode has the puppets from the Janie show appearing in the window for one episode. Just excellent stuff...
this takes me back.......that S.O.B. scared the hell outta me as a young child in the 70's. Truth be known, Bob Carter(aka Sammy Terry) is a fine human being, and he's still alive and kicking. Makes me long for the programming of the old WTTV-4...
