Um I have a bizarre question but this is the second MV by Jay Chou I've watched and both of them have a girl who's ill in hospital/ill and dying, I notice this a lot in Asian comics too. Is it common in Asia to have someone close die from illness? Or is it a bit like how in most of the American films I watched growing up one parent had died either when they were young or in the last year. Now that I've said that I'm kind of wondering if that means that that is a common experience there?
