what do you do to keep your pinion gears on well, i have a mamba 8000kv and a microsidewinder esc with a 8.4v 2600mah battery and i cant keep my pinion gear on it always comes loose, just wondering how you keep yours on.

If your motor shaft dosent have a flat spot on it then you should make one with a dremal drill so when you tighten the pinion gear down it rests on the flat spot. I had the older mamba 8000kv motor in mine and i had to make it cause same thing kept happening to me.

no matter what you buy to make it bulletproof, with a brushless system and a 3cell lipo your always going to break something. lol

i have three mini t's one all alloy with a fullforce chassis, and the others with some alloy but mostly stock and every time i take em out to bash i end up breaking something.

But its also fun fixing them.

ok man no offense but everyone that buys the micro t is an idiot. it breaks really really easily and i was at my LHS the other day and they said all hobby shots hate working on cars and trucks under 1/16 size so they charge more for labor on small cars and trucks. The reason they charge more is because its tiny tiny parts and fixing it is tedious as hell

My radio setup here was a Airtronics MX-3FM and a Airtronics Micro RX. Now it has a Spektrum DX2 2.4g radio and RX. For a quick antenna tube fix use a drinking straw. If not the local hobby store. Hope that helped some.:]

mamba 8000 and mamba 25 esc by castle creations. if you get a brushless motor these are what you must buy:

brushless esc

27mhz reciever unit

micro steering servo

ni-mh or lipo battery pack

all metal gears

other modifications that are 'essential' are:

full ball bearings

oil filled shocks

and because you will be going so fast with that brushless motor you will crash alot and break the plastic parts. so you will need to replace the plastic chassis and parts with aluminium parts

To reword for normal people: If you get an RC you must have: Matching receiver+transmitter Steering servo Battery pack You probably also should have: Full ball bearings Oil-filled shocks Foamed/glued/vented wheels For brushless you need: a brushless ESC and most of the above optionals You want full metal gearing

id consider it if the price is right. its all alloy except for the gear box. it has full force siver ally chassis, gh silver alloy f/r a-arms, gh f/r shock towers, gh f/r hubs & streering block, ball bearings all around,and the mamba comp x package motor & esc and spektrum dx2 2.4g radio and rx combo. i have well over $500. in this rc and afew more extras like lipo packs and spare alloy parts.

its easy to control with a 6 or 7 cell reguler battery pack but if you want insane speed, go with a 3cell lipo.

get some deans battery plugs for it. it will give you better power! you might want to get a better RX/TX for it. sometime the stock radio gives you glishes.

yeah for a mamba system alone is around $119. but with a mini t and the mamba youll spend atleast $150 to 250. for it on ebay. i put over $500 in it because mine is all alloy.
