Hi Tob, cheers for your tuts, very helpful I am currently following your foot tut, but using drivers instead of actions. I have finally set up my first successful 2.5 driver. I had to change the driven bone's rotation to euler though, do you think this will give me problems? have you managed to drive any quaternion bones rotation? BTW, I saw you didnt create a curve for the driver in this vid, but I think you figured out the problem since posting this:-)
Yeah, just as you said with the driver problem : ). It's a good feeling when you get the first one working. I haven't done any rotation drivers yet. In fact I still don't know how to use a normal editable f-curve as the driver, I've only had success with the generator modifier. Whenever I try to add a keyframe it just doesn't do anything. Do you know how to add keyframes to driver curves? (thanks for the comment btw glad the videos have been useful, your animations are great : )
In the graph editor, I make sure I have the driver selected, then I add keys by control+left clicking in the graph editor. You can tell if you properly selected your driver if it's name is in white (top left of graph editor). This is easyer to see when you have several drivers. Also make sure you are in 'drivers' mode.
