i agree with all of you i am in thailand and now have to look at the calendar page for bangkok embassy they only show you 2 months at a time and it never open other days you have to keep looking all day and if one open its like the lottery everybody jump on it fast and its gone anybody have an answer for that

I was released back to base in a couple of days and later honourably discharged - I have no idea what my charges were, I've never smoked the stuff and I hadn't the nerve to sell it - I have zero paperwork and almost zero recollection of events. Now I need a visa....having visited many times in between to visit my son. What a complete JOKE!!!!

ridiculous form - times out after a few seconds; try to open your passport or reach for a document and it's gone. and when you have got it filled out it refuses to upload the photo. I've been trying for days now. and the phone lines charge me $2 a minute to be told each time that there is too much traffic and my call cannot be answered!! This is a joke. Bad, bad, bad planning and criminal overcharging.

the ds-160 is a complete and utter nightmare - i literally have spent days trying to get it filled out. Session keeps timing out. you CANNOT skip information that you have already filled out and saved. You have to go throughevery single step over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again after every time out. It is a complete and utter joke. Bring back forms that you can fill out - bring back telephone lines where you can actually speak to someone!

they have telephone lines at £1.20 a minute my last months bill was up by £50 just to the embassy still can not do ds160 form though turned away.

Due to unforeseen problems with the new visa application form DS-160, any applicant who has been unable to complete this form may submit the previously used DS-156, DS-157 if male between the ages of 16 and 45 and DS-158 if applying for an F or a J visa until further notice.

Can you please talk to your equivalent in Dublin? I have been turned away twice today already because I have been unable to complete the form. I gave them the example that you have set by allowing the DS-156 but they don't seem to be doing anything about it. I hope to travel in 5 days.

I could not find these kinds of information the US embassy Tokyo (Where I want to have my visa interviiew)

My big question is how to make appointment for interview without completing DS-160 form. Without confermation page, applicants will not be able to make their appontment)

Spent DAYS, hours, this is a torture. I am trying to do this for my old Mom, she could not handle this nightmare. I am in US and between my husband and I we spend DAYS!!! This is not right.

Is connectivety problems happend in other countries? I have tried to access the DS-160 from the U.S .(I'm preparing for my renew my visa). I spent more than 19 hours, but I could not comptete the DS-160....

I'm afraid that I CANNOT get my visa due to the problem.

Same here. I spend more then 24 hours. I am trying as we type this comment. I took the day off work to no avail. I hope the state department fix this problem as soon as possible. I can not spend hours of my work time.

I attended my appointment on 3 March 2010 with the new ds160 the form was impossible to fill in 1 question about elementary school was wrong so I was turned away and had until 2 0 clock that day to change the answer I had also take my ds156 form just in case as the problems on ds160 were impossible to fill in due to timing out, I sat in an internet cafe allday to no avail tried at the embassy again to see if I could give in Ds156 instead to no avail please help

The DS-160 form IS NOT WORKING...........

I have been helping my fiance do this form for 3 days, NON-STOP (trading off sleeping!!!), and it keeps timing out. You should have spent more money building a working system and less on an unhelpful promotional video.
