he is the tony hawk if nothing more than for his incredible consistency...when he throws a move, he sticks it every time. It's not always the BIGGEST move, but that's not what counts necessarily. He does what it takes to win, and usually does. Pretty incredible the amount of boat and body control it takes to be consistent in such a dynamic sport.

on a pistol flip you start at the top of the wave in a back surf then drive down to get the bounce. he used his paddle once he was in a backsurf to pull his bow into the foampile.

Nope. not a pistol flip. Looked like a loose association of a phonix monkey..but a pistol flip you set up backward and flip the boat over you from that position. He clearly does a piroette sortof...and then front loops it.

with the difficulty of buseater, i´m sure u r right, but i´be never been there.

BUT ej hasn´t more style in the hole. he benefits from the new rules (no style is counted) and the jackson mafia (judges at ej´s final runs at the worlds were jackson team members). that means: his as if moves are counted, although they´re not clear. Cheater!
