@UkechantheKuroneko Hát akkor nem tudom hol jártál. Engem például a második olaszországi látogatásomon, megpuszilt két idős olasz néni, mert magyar vagyok, sőt édesapámat a nyakába vette egy 2 méteres olasz pincér ez akkor volt, amikor meg nyerték a VB-t.

A legtöbb olasz tudja mi az a Magyarország és tudja hogy miről híres.

Sőt amikor egy olasz embert tokaji borral kínáltam, tudta hogy tokaji a bor :D Szóval erről ennyit.

This is a great video. I agree the message of this presentation, I feel the same about Italy. I really hate to criticize it, but must mention one thing. All the Hungarian pictures was from today's Hungary. It's not right. She is much bigger

than that. For us, those territories are still Hungary even if right now under romanian, serbian, slovakian, ukrainian, etc. occupation.

Yes, nice video (Romanian too), I could add that for language we are very close to italian, sometimes more close to latin than Italy is! However we have also some slave influence, like the word "Da" wich means Yes, is tipically slave.

In the Western Europe Romania is the only latin country and I like the balcanic/slave mix too, it's a nice language. However the grammar is sometimes more difficult than Italian too, learned both trust me (romanian actually only a part).

We should all be brothers

Just as a note, those people like the Serbs, Croats, Poles and Russians are called "Slavs", not "Slaves". :p

If you call them slaves, then they'll be greatly offended by this so try to not make the mistake. It's like calling Romanians Rromas; it's offensive, even if you didn't mean it in an offensive manner.

Oh, to be honest with you, I wasn't actually born in Europe. I was born here in Canada, but yes, outside of my parents and siblings, my entire family lives in Europe. And aside from that, I love languages so I'd rather live in Europe where I can speak a lot of languages rather than here where I can only use English(which I don't really like that much).

that's because hungarian language has a lot of rules, but VERY FEW exceptions, and few irregularities. and... no gender! romanian has 2 gender, and lots of irregular plural forms. hungarian has just one form for past tense.

The language part isn't really saying that the Italian and Hungarian languages have a lot of vocab in common, since they certainly do not- I was just pointing out that there is some.

However, yes, you're right, we do have more in common with Romanian than Italian. I forgot the Romanian word for it, but I know that the word for city in Romanian comes from Hungarian 'város', and that the Romanian word for slipper is similar to the Hungarian one (papucs) because we both got it from the Turks.
