The new intro to this isn't new. They used to open up Axolotls a lot on their Downward is Heavenward tour. You can find a live recording of them at Graffiti in Pittsburgh, vocals are real loud and clear, Matt explains the meaning behind every song before they play them, and they open the entire show with this intro. badass.

What a cool band. How many bands around today or of the past would ring in the new year with fans who love them? just another reason that Hum is one of the greatest. Play reunion shows in 2010!!!!!!!

nah. they used that intro live all the time back around 98/99. That was initially part of the recorded version but got removed.

@StussySteveo Yes, that's correct. It actually was the original opening for the song, but RCA made them cut it out of the album prior to release.

The fake set list was a riot. "Roar, I'm a tiger" and "Immigrant Song". It was a real pleasure spending New Years Eve with you all; Jeremy, Ryan, Jeff, and all of you in the front. Glad we found that dude's glasses.
