This is a great movie and you did a great job with the review. You should review the original "The Day the Earth Stood Still." People today do not know what a great movie it was because the modern version was such a disaster.
Hey Eric, long time fan here, here's a good edition to your Television series: Bored to Death. It's an HBO comedy show and it stars Zack Gald3;]ifnnerginkis, Jason Schwartzman, and Ted Danson. It's a crack-up, you'll love it! Please check it out! :)
Yes! Another brilliant classic. I have a feeling I will know every film reviewed on the Sunday show with Paul because of my upbringing of watching these classic films.
I've said this a million times but it's so true: You guys are doing a fantastic job with with this channel! Each one of you are getting better and better every week! I love it. Paul, I absolutely love the way you've gone about reviewing these classics. You look at the bigger picture and explain what you feel the film was trying to represent or convey, it's great! You're all doing a great job, I am literally thirsting for a new video from this channel every day!
Actually The treasure of Sierra Madre was the film that got me into classics. I enjoyed everything about this movie and especially the transformation of the characters towards the end. There is so much interesting things happening in this film, that, despite preferring modern movies, i just got extremely engaged in it. I advice it to everyone, because it is really not your typical black and white old film. The only other film that had the same effect on me was the haunting 1963
@soldierkiller29 You missed the point because that's EXACTLY THE POINT!!! He's recommending a classic that not many people know about. Get some culture...
@soldierkiller29 for people tht like classics? Now uve heard of a very popular movie. You dnt hav to watch it.... u knew it was old cuz it says 1948 in the title
I think that it is a brilliant film. I don't know about gold but I have seen several business deals go the way this film went because of greed.

A little trivia about this film: The actor Walter Huston who plays Howard is the director's (John Huston) father in real life.
