WTF I'm reading, eletric trimmers are like 20-40 euros? I guess In America people are afraid of anything that doesn't pollute the air.

BTW, I think it's fun to watch when somebody uses a trimmer.

i just bought myself a gas trimmer and is way better than this electic one. Don't get electric ones, always go with gas trimmers. More robust and powerful than this.

Another problem with electric is that the motor is mostly found at the base and with humidity, it just gets burnt !

@luckyhuss The only reason gas trimmers are better is because for the power, they are cheaper. A company could just as easily build a bad ass electric trimmer that would crush a gas one, but it would cost way too much. So they have to use tiny electric motors from China and crap batteries so the price is right. I plan to build my own electric trimmer that will put every 25cc gas trimmer to shame when it comes to performance. The electric motor alone cost me $211.

get a petrol strimmer you can tackle high grass straight at the hight you want..preferably a stihl trimmer :) we use them at work to tackle grass 3 times the height of that

you could also get a stihl fse-60 which many people compare to some of the other gas trimmers stihl has instead of getting those black and decker and other trimmers which are inferior and cant cut for ____ basically Stihl FTW!
