We got a 2009 brand new at the end of 2009 for 32,000. GT model with navigation and two package that retailed for 41K and some change. It has been a dream to drive and own. . . only downside is the poor mpg. But it is a 9 passenger SUV.

Bougth my pearl white Mica CX-9 GT FWD for $32,500 from Fremont CA Mazda including fees and taxes last April. Love the Xenon lights, leather, 20 inch wheels, blind spot monitoring system, and bluetooth all standard in the GT. I got it without options. I can't believe I almost paid 35,000 for a basic acadia without the bells and whistles I got in my CX-9. Acadia was my first choice until I test drove the Cx-9, I'm glad I did.

Just got my 2010 Stormy Blue Micah CX-9 GT Friday and it's AMAZING! I compared this, the Acura MDX, and Honda Pilot and NONE of the other's even come close. The road noise in the Honda and Acura are extremely annoying and obnoxious at any speed while the Mazda is silent enough to allow the driver to speak to the person in the third seat without raising their voice. The comfort level is like none other also. If you're considering this car, stop considering and go buy it! 0% APR until 8/2!

I just got my brand new 2010 CX 9 GT last week and LOVE IT!!!!!!

I'm surprised at a few basic things it doesn't have though, specially for a car at that price.

1. Auto close sun roof when the engine is turned off

2. Proper iPod connector (instead of connecting via Aux1)

Apart from that..... she's a dream.

@Shez74 Congrats on your new car! I am in love with my new CX9 too and am so glad I did not trade my 07 CX9 for anything else. As for your ipod, are you aware that your ipod has bluetooth settings you can turn on and it will play all your music wirelessly. You do not lose the sound quality like you do using the aux jack. You can also get a direct ipod connection installed, but it is a bit pricey. Another thing that can affect your sound quality is that roadnoise thing. Turn that off!

I just double checked my 6th Gen 120Gb Classic iPod and it doesn't have BT :O( I have asked my dealer to give me the best price possible on hard wiring the iPod and am waiting for him to come back to me. He's a mate, so should hopefully not be too hard on my wallet.

lol, I will try turning off the Roadnoise function and see what happens. It's pretty loud and clear as it is... I'll try this in the morning en-route to work.

I can't tell you the exact fuel economy, because I live in Mexico, fuel is different from USA. But what I can tell you is that has a LONG BETTER fuel economy that gmc acadia, gm traverse, honda pilot, tahoe, buick enclave, DURANGO, and many more SUV's

REALLY RECOMMEND the CX-9, you'l LOVE IT right after you exit the dealer... its a dream SUV, a special one.... you'll enjoy it at a way you can't imagine ;) you're going for the best option , believe me, I've looked at ALL Suv's, and MAZDA is the BEST ;) you'll not regret of buying it..... finally, I can said that the driving is UNIQUE, UNcOMPARABLE to others, that's how it feels to drive a zoom-zoom :D
