  • wow !!!

  • pure magic.... ;)

  • i saw the movie a cup of days ...she was murdered by jack the ripper?...i never understand what happen..

  • @TheRexmoon Yes, that is correct. Though dazzling to behold, as a free-spirited, vain and unrepentant femme fatale given to occasional devilish intent, it appears to be her destiny to spiral downward into the arms of an urban horror who can no more stop himself from being what he is than she can.

  • @catalinat22 wow.you are very cult person...i ve conclude that you are her biggests fan am i right?...

  • @TheRexmoon One of many fans, now including you I'll bet! We're in good company. Thanks, Nik

  • @catalinat22 yeah, you are right,catalinat22..now i am a big fan of her..in the nineties, the synthpop group OMD make a musical theme in her homage..they call "PANDORA S BOX" ..is very cool, maybe you have noticed this...send you a lot of kisses...

  • my god ..!! she was beautiful..!!!

  • @TheRexmoon Yes SIr. Divinely so!

  • @catalinat22 she looks so natural..so innocent..and her eyes..!!! my god ...what a skin...its so sad that her life was tragic and regretly

  • @TheRexmoon Yes, magic onscreen may on occasion not translate to magic offscreen.

  • I saw the movie a long time ago. I loved it! Louise Brooks was great.

  • @MowgliX Yes, she is remarkable to see onscreen. Every look is a revelation, every movement is a dance.

  • @catalinat22 Yes, se was a miracle, she had an electric charge. And Hollywood failed to see it, because the people in charge there at the time were idiots.

  • @MowgliX I don't know much about him but it seems at least that director G.W. Pabst (Pandora's Box, Diary of a Lost Girl) recognized clearly how much the camera loved her.

  • @catalinat22 Yes, but that was in Germany during the Weimar Republic. Back home, she did't get along well with the powers that be in Hollywood. And then, as we know, terrible disasters happened in Germany in the 1930s and 40s that prevented anything sensible to occur.

  • @MowgliX Yes, absolutely, sad and troubled times in the 1930's & 40's for the world at large.

  • @catalinat22 Yes so pointless and tragic, like so many things in the world. For Louise that meant her career was over by 1930 or so. Back when Louise was a star, she had a very posh apartment at 20 Park Avenue in Manhattan. After that, I don't know. She was a recluse and alcoholic for some 30 years, and in love with sleeping pills, very sad. I have to read up on this, but she returned and wrote for magazines later, in the 1960s. If you know any interesting tidbits, please let me know!

  • @catalinat22 Yes, it seems he did. Good director, too.

  • Beautiful video and good music !!!!!
