The amazing thing about Graham is that he bares his soul so sincerely . He has always written such beautiful, passionate and emotionally rich music. In this performance he keeps his playing so subtle and simply let's his voice move you.It's a shame that he ever doubted himself even for a second with that kind of power.

Graham Nash had the most talent in CSNY, excluding of course Neil Young. Nash's first 2 solo albums are both masterworks, with WILD TALES being my favorite. The musicians which played on these tracks were the cream of the California Rock of 1970's --- "On the Line" is a classic track too - please support Grahamn and buy these cds... timeless.

I am so happy to see that the younger generations have found Graham Nash. I remember buying his albums in the 70's and my friends tripped that he was the N of CSN&Y. His music and his views have not changed. Keep listening all because I will be.

ive just found out about Graham Nash, and to be honest, we hads pure pure talent. i first heard Simple Man which was 'wow' now all his songs are just amazing. <3

It might look as if I were living in a cave for the last 3 decades, but I have just discovered this song. My first reaction? "Who the hell is this genius". After a few other searches I found out that this is a 30 years old song, which confirms my suspicion that beauty has its own objective existence and that the notion that it is in the eyes of the beholder is just a myth

Do yourself a huge favor. Go out and buy his first two solo albums. beautiful. "Songs for Beginners" and "Wild Tales". This is song is probably the best, but there are some true gems on those albums.

I have to say, this version is definitely more striking than the album, which is saying a lot. Wild Tales is one of my favorite albums of all time; I wrote a letter to Graham earlier this month (I'm 15; at this age, I can afford to do such a thing) and am waiting for him to get off tour in early October to reply... this recording has been practically on loop since I mailed the thing!

Pick up "Wild Tales" it is an amazing album and completely under rated. It was not advertised by his record company at the time and so sales were slow. the album company is to blame for more of us not knowing this fine piece of work. Nash also said it made him doubt himself for a long time until he found out it was because his record company only wanted to promote CSN work, and discourage them from playing alone.

Agreed. Wild Tales is an excellent piece of work. I'm not sure whether I prefer it to Songs for Beginners, but in my opinion it's easily its equal. If anyone wants a download link, let me know.

@pjjanz I completely agree with you on this. Graham Nash was way too rattling good a talent for the Hollies, and by far the finest songwriter amongst CSN to this day. If he had gotten what he deserved, what might this have done to the dynamics of CSN?
