I couldn't agree with you more...unfortunately you only get one bottle squeeze per take. We had to refill each time, then the speed of the song forced me to cut before the ketchup hit the table. It was that or speed up the footage, which didn't look great.

the cuts look necessary to me. Look at how the ketchup is still in the air on almost every cut...if it had no cuts it would have needed to be to a very slow song, giving the ketchup time to squirt up and fall all the way...and very boring.

thanks, but as I've mentioned...one take is impossible when the ketchup bottles are facing up. You have to refill after every squeeze.

One of the best concepts. Very complimentary music to your point. Could have been more visually appealing shot in 16:9 format. Using 4:3 left a lot of white space below the bottles. Intercutting some slow-motion tight shots of ketchup spurts at the top of their arcs could have punched it over the top! Great job.

Really original and pretty good but, considering you had cuts and could edit it, it should have been better timed with the music. It looks half timed, could have been better. Also, barely looks like HEINZ. If it was all done in one take however i would understand, but because there are cuts, it has to be better than not timed.

I did think of a fun way of doing it all in one take...an air compressor with tubes of ketchup running up into the bottom of the bottles. Just didn't quite have the budget for it. Plus I think the hands and the cuts adds to the novelty of it, once you realize there's 6 or 7 people under that table squeezing bottles to a tune.

That's how I originally planned it in my head, but I quickly ran into a problem...the only way to do it in one take is with bottles that never run out of ketchup. Facing straight up, they're only good for about 1 or 2 squeezes.
