I can't think of why anyone would be so bitter to post on YouTube their contempt of a video. Especially a school video. I mean surely you have better things to do then to actively seek out videos that inexplicably annoy you an comment abuse? What's makes you so hopeful of our absence? Does our existence offend you so that you deem us inferior? Or is it that you hate Long Road and want to take it out somehow. Like anonymously. On a video about SCHOOL.

and, lightershadeofbright, It is very difficult to answer your question. The comments on the website are made from people in all stages of Long Road, GCSE year, AS and A2. (I know this for fact) so I am certain that Long Road has gone downhill and has probably being doing this for sometime.
This doesnt represent the college at all. It is actually a Rubbish place. You cant gather in ANY of the corridors shown in the film, you are told to move on. All of the trees in the quad have been cut down and we are now left with stumps. Youd never gather there anyway because is so packed, as is the canteen (refectory) it is almost impossible to move at lunchtimes, it takes about ten minutes to get served, and then there is absolutely nowhere to sit!
I hate to interrupt, but this entire argument is beside the point. It's like arguing with the creators of the latest Cabury's chocolate advert because the actual chocolate bar doesn't magically endow children with convulsive techno-spasming eyebrows.
This is essentially an advert. It's not meant to be realistic. Feel free to vent your grudge against the college, but its failings have nothing to do with the people who made this.

I do have to add, though (however much I hate to stir up settled mud) that at the time this was made, it was pretty accurate. Apart from the bit with the crystal, and the battles, etc.
And only two of the 18 non-responsive comments here are from people involved in the making of 'A Day At Long Road', and the fact that the quad is packed PROVES that some people MUST hang out there. It is especially nice in summer when the trees are less dead.

Mojohasmind is a friend of mine, so it was kind of natural for me to watch her stuff first. Lucky me, to stumble across this. Were you at long road last year? I concede that is HAS gone majorly downhill since then, although it's possible the comparative drag of year 13 and winter may be prejudicing me about 2009. Yes, it DOES smell like old sandwiches. The internet cafe smells like armpits.
This video is great, really hilarious, but that clip of Alex saying "Battle" pretty much ruined it for me. Also this really shows how bad iMovie slow-motion is (If thats what your using)

Well, seeing as we made the video, of course we're going to hype it up. Wouldn't you for your own piece of work?
Secondly, it's not like we made this for fun - we got commissioned and it looks good on the CV - that's all I care about.

P.S. Long Road isn't all that great anymore, I know. But it used to be pretty damn fly.
