I for one would not see a chriropractor if theres more to your back hurthing he can cause more damage. Your best bet is to see a real doc. for your pain.
Anyway. I have lower back pain, today its at its worst. How can i be sure its muscle only? And nothing more severe that could be permanently damaged, spine maybe? I see a chriropractor and given 1 stretch which is pulling my knees up across my chest. Helps but not loads.
I can appreciate the sentiment. F.M. Alexander was the predecessor of M. Feldenkrais, who was the predecessor of Thomas Hanna, who was my predecessor. All are forms of somatic education.
All roads lead to Rome, but not all roads get there equally quickly. Before commenting, best to work with the procedure shown, then form an opinion.
@Zeropip Back spasms indicate that muscles are conditioned to be too tight all the time. The spasm may subside, but the tightness and the tendency to go into spasm remain until the brain-muscle connection is reconditioned (i.e., by exercises such as these).
