the game will be cool but throwing the older characters for clones is very messed up.It wasn't just gameplay that people loved.it was the story as well.Some characters were legends in there own right and get written off for no true reason.I'm a Taki fan and I'm dislike Natsu.She's heavily influenced by Naruto.Taki's style was that of a killer.Natsu is too playful and carefree.In the past character styles represented their personality.The new characters work except Natsu.

@179107199999 She fights exactly like Taki but without the seriousness.Xiba has Kilik's style however the way he wields his bo is in his own style even though he shares some of Kilik's moves.The way most of the characters were sidelined and yet some were kept was foolish in my opinion.NamcoBandai might as well have ditched everyone.Seriously why keep Mitsurugi and drop Taki? Why is algo in the game? and for that matter Edgemaster too?That's pretty stupid.

I'm really really looking forward to finding out more about ZWEI. There seems to have less info about him than anyone else, so he's really mysterious.

When I first heard about the game, and saw the first promo material, I thought this was gonna be a complete overhaul of the series- new game mechanics, new story, and most importantly- new characters.

I just found out that the characters are essentially all here, except for like 5 people. Grr.... They could've pulled more newcomers into the fight!

This is a cool trailer! The "sidestep" moments look so epic here! The part with Astaroth and Patroklos at 1:57 is the best part of this to me. This game (sadly) may be not aimed at (even maybe discarding) the fans. They may be attempting solely to bring in newcomers who have NO PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE of the games, hoping they'll buy this, and then to access more characters will go back and buy the previous (still sold in stores) SC-4. Buying 2 games costs more than buying just 1. They make more money this way.

Soul Calibur 2 and 3 were the best. They suck making these crap games with no extra modes and dlc. Gaming is not fun anymore. Soul Calibur 4 was shit. The modes were Arcade and some stupid as H.O.R.S.E- like mode. SC3 had a fucking strategy-like conquest where you fought with ppl you created. SC2 had Link from Legend of Zelda. I'm so pissed at games today. Sorry I'm venting
