any body know why the canton lyrics do not mean the same as the mandarin ones? E.g.in the chorus; "bu yao bu yao" in canton, in mandarin its " si wang si wang".. means different things ... WTF, plus so many more...the song is sad still but sadder in canton though.

@cert46 they completely rewrote the lyrics for the Mandarin version. The written language they use for cantonese songs is different from written Mandarin, but I can still understand it. Personally, I think the Cantonese lyrics are much, much better and the Mandarin ones are really cheesy and don't make as much sense.

Puppydog321 those are not translation but rather english version of the song.

wong faye make 3 version the fist are cantonese. you can read the lycrics on the fist line.

the second is the mandarine version you can read on the second line.

all 3 version have 3 differrent lycrics.

weird.

but i like the cantonese version.
