I love the Smart DJ system - it's actually helped me rediscover artists I've forgotten about. Depending on my mood, I'll Smart DJ from a few different main artists:

* Jimmy Eat World

* Tears for Fears

* Black Eyed Peas

* Kylie Minogue

I then exclude Marketplace content intentionally so it's just selecting from my own collection - voila, reminders of other, past faves I'd forgotten about.

Kylie could do with some tweaking - tends to get 80's Kylie related stuff, but the rest rocks!

This feature above every other one, I think is what really puts Zune over the edge of the competition. it really is as great as everyone says it is. My friends that are iPodians are uber jealous that the Genius feature in iTunes isn't nearly as powerful. Most are looking to get a Zune for Christmas now.

In my opinion, this is by far the best function Zune has added to their software. I spent the first week after downloading the update going nuts with this. I find it really does make great mixes that flow surprisingly well, almost as if the choices and order are premeditated. Great vid to explain how to maximize it's use!

My favourite mix thus far has come from Queen, specifically their first album.
