So Great Tribulation & Armageddon were fulfilled in 70AD? If so then Jesus' 1000 reign has begun. The Hebrew word for WORLD that was spoken means Civilization. In Noah's flood that WORLD ended in the flood, not the AGE. 2 Peter3:6. Dan.70th Wk. is the last 7 yrs. It begins with WARS, Mt.24:6, Dan.7:23 & ends with Armageddon Battle & Jesus'Return for 1000 yrs. Rev.19:11-21. The Temple destruction is just part of Lk.19:41:44 that predicts the destruction of the entire City of Jerusalem.at the End.

I agree with this man. The Coming of Christ is not a SECOND coming, but means the Christ Age in which God deals with man through a New Covenant, the Old Covenant and the old age having passed. Christ is WITH US NOW in the form of the Spirit, and you have Him if you have been born again spiritually. People are still looking for something MORE. All that is needed now is for all to grow up spiritually into Christ. He is building the Kingdom of God in our hearts!

My question for all preterists are many. Most important however are the fact that the early church fathers didn't ever happen to mention this belief, but looked forward to a future return of Christ wherein we would rule with him as kings and priests. And the final reconciliation of the kosmos (Col 1:20), when God shall be all in all and all nations will worship bow before Christ and sing worship the father.(Isa 45:23, Rom 14:11, Psa 66:4) ... No room for the future ages and those prophecies ...

You're actually quite wrong about church fathers not mentioning preterism. Most all agreed that Nero fulfilled prophecies in Revelation. That makes them preterists. In fact, Eusebius even thinks of Domitian as in there as well with these "mystery persecutions" on Christians. He thinks he was the fulfillment of Rev 13. Tertullian too if I'm not mistaken? So, yes, the fathers did in fact believe the fulfillments occurred but they didn't exactly have 2 millennia of hindsight 20/20 and reform.

Actually in regard to the first three centuries, Justin Martyr admits there were many good CHristians who rejected his idea of "chilism" and or Premillennialism.

Even if it is the end of the world, we still need to resist new world order. And this temple that Jesus was talking about, I think it symbolizes the church. Christianity was replaced with mystery babylon religion in III century. Now roman catholic church is openly satanic, churches in USA are openly taken over by FEMA.

Man you need to relax with that stuff, seriously. The Temple is the actual Temple; Jesus said their stones would not remain intact. And he said the church would never be destroyed. And no, Christianity replaced the Mystery Babylon in AD 70. If you believe in God, then have faith because Jesus said if we believe in him we will never die. So if persecutions come, just know that Jesus said we can't die - only go home. =]

I am about a 3rd of the way through this. And I'm hoping that this teaching leads to the fact, that it wan't "just" the temple Jesus was talking about but "all these things", and NOT ONE STONE LEFT UPON ANOTHER. Today you still have stones left upon another it's called "The Wailing Wall". So this prophecy has as not yet been fulfilled. Now I'll finish the rest of the teaching to see where this is heading.

The wailing wall is not part of the actual temple itself, but rather one of the walls of the courtyard of the temple. The temple itself was utterly destroyed from what I have been able to find out about it.

It's not just "the temple" (singular), but all the buildings of the temple, which included the Wailing wall, which was a retaining wall of the temple.

Men draw wrong conclutions unintentionally on God's Word. Usually because that is what someone else taught them. This belief that the prophecy was fulfilled in Mat. 24: of temple distruction has been around for a while. But what are the ramifications of teaching prophecy has come to pass "IF" it really has not come to pass? Then one must reinterpret the whole word to make it fit. This has been continually going on since the first century, leading to a false understanding.

I believe the Lord said what he meant and meant what he said, and I am sure you do also. However I believe that this prophecy has been misinterpreted, as having "come to pass", due to people before you, not reading it clearly and drawing false asumptions, leading to a wrong teaching. Then we hear this and pick it up, as I also use to think this same, till I actually read and really gave it some more t hought.

When it comes to the time text we need to think in terms of eternity as God is eternal time is irrelevant, God gave us the answer to time through a Jewish man named Albert Einstien, If Enoch and Elijah come back as the two witnesses in revelation. The Elijah place at passover is still held awaiting Elijah's return. For him it has been a little while, for him it is soon.

So according to that logic, time means nothing, when Jesus said "destroy this temple, and in 3 days I shall raise it up", He really could have meant any length of time, since time has no meaning. He could have meant 3 months, or 3 years, or 3 thousand years. If that is the case, how can we trust any of the bible, sinc e it is full of statements of time in history? Christ did rise after 3 days in perfect fulfillment of his own prediction. Who shall we put our faith in? Christ or Einstein?

The problem with the preterist view is that they do not understand the trancendant you of scripture. When Jesus says let no man deceive you he is not just addressing his early disciples but all those whom would follow him.

Read Zechariah 12 and 13, look at the time frame references, and then decide for yourself. His second coming was not "at the cross." It was united as a part of His high priestly ministry as the second appearing. That is what AD 70 was. The cross to the parousia in AD 70 was all a part of completing the high priestly ministry. The Old Covenant was not completely done away until AD 70 for those who had not yet received Christ. Read Hebrews 8:13.

1)Many things described by Jesus did not happen in 70 A.D. The disciples were asking two questions not one so no, the disciples did not believe that Jesus was coming at the same time that the temple was going to be destroyed. They didn't know when Jesus was coming which is why they asked. Jesus specifically pointed us to Daniel and Joel in Matthew 24. Before Jesus comes the abomination of desolation must be set up on a wing of the temple as layed out in Daniel, that did not happen by 70 A.D.

2)It will happen later, in the 3rd temple described in Ezekiel and Revelation which is 2be built in the future. Also, Jesus and the prophets Joel and Isaiah said the Moon must turn to blood, the Sun must not give it's light and the stars must fall BEFORE Jesus comes back. Also, Isaiah and Revelation make clear the mountains and island will not be found, they will be shaken down BEFORE Jesus comes back. These things did NOT happen in 70 A.D. We must read the prophets, they tell of His 2nd coming!

its all mind control. Remember how the bible was rewritten by the caesers then ol king james...they took out the stuff that really matters and left the fear and guilt all in. killed anyone who didnt convert. just like present day.

It always amazes me just how "flexibly" the passages of the bible can be interpreted. For as many disagreeing sects there are, there are as many ways to see the "truth." At this point in time I see the bible as a tool of empire and one that should not be read literally. It serves only symblically and allegorically. Nothing more.

its a history book, really. theres proof of all of it. problem is the texts were wrote to benefit those in charge. we werent allowed to read until a little while ago in the grand scheme of things.

Proof of all except the Jesus phenomena. The only documented proof is of a man who lived outside of the christian timeframe whose name was Yehoshua Ben Panthera who was a adept and killed by stoning, charged with sorcery. The Templars, according to records, did a search for scrolls located under the remains of Herods' temple that define all of that and that they kept hidden. Those records went on to the Scottish Rite Freemasonry after their demise.

i also do not believe Jesus died on the cross, at all.
