  • I would have sold it for 1 million...

  • 25k for a fucking plastic piece of shit nintendo game?? you must be fucking stupid to even consider paying anything near that, what you losers do for a shitty material object baffles me

  • @scottiebones It's an investment dipshit.

  • Oh. I'am getting sick. OHHHHHHHH

  • If I ever get one from ebay or buy it form guy who has one, I'm giving it to AVGN for free just to see his reaction XD

  • @UltimasIsland He Did review that but its not on youtube

  • @UltimasIsland he made an episode based just on that game, and it showed him with the gold cartridge. was that one real or fake?

  • @coolxcraig No clue, but I guess you can make anything look real

  • 4:32 -> see that lil spot? the lil abuse this cart took? the avgns cart had it too, i guess he got if from here. pretty good deal considering the value of this cannot really be determined, it all depends on how much bidders are willing to pay.

  • @0M9H4X only thing is that the two carts didn't belong to the nerd but to pat :D but that doesn't mean you are wrong, could be this one :D

  • @TheGodOfCruelty:

oh yeah my fault. cause theyre pats but whatever^^

  • Id happily just get a Reproduction Cartridge BUT Im in a PAL region so it wouldnt work too well for me.

  • yea its SUPER!! RARE!!

  • well i went to my grandmas house and their was a case that holdes 3 cartridges, their was a purple one and a silver one in their in their, but their was an empty slot so i assume that was where the gold one went. She said she bought the collection at a garrage sale and was going to give it to my cousion back in the day but never did. And she has no idea where the gold one is and im kinda pissed because i remember seeing that case their all the time and never thought anything of it.

  • Some people buy cars, nerds buys cartridges.

  • HOLY SHIT...I swear i saw this game in my grandmas basement like 4 years ago. is it really worth that much?

  • @TheMistakeOnTheLake1: yes only 26 were ever made, if you still know you Grandma has it I would try to get it from her.

  • @TheMistakeOnTheLake1 yes realy. it is MOSTE RARE game in the worls. i am serious. only 26 game in the all world!!

  • The original warioware Inc

  • you know i saw one of these games at an abandoned farm house i was cleaning up, i thought it was junk so i threw it out....... now i know the actual value of it, i think i will be sorting some garbage at the dump 0_0

  • wow you could make the game yourself in those days

  • free shiping yeaaa

  • why should people pay $25,000 for the gold cartridge, if there is a reproduction cartridge what looks better and costs only $45

  • @TheSmashbros45 Why do people collect old NES games when they could easily download an emulator?

  • @TylursVideo because some people don't like using emulators, other didn't heard of emulators, and other want to have a full nes collection(but people don't even play the games they just want to have a full nes collection with games only to look at the cartridges, but is a waste of money and space)

i actually use emulators that comment was just for people who play games on a real nes

  • @TheSmashbros45 so there, you answered your own question. Some people like collecting and buying this cart would add to the collection in a huge way.

  • @TylursVideo Also add the fact that that this is extremelly rare and the value has gone sky high.

  • @TylursVideo raped, but paying more than 100 dollars for trash like this is retarded

  • @TylursVideo fuck you

  • @TylursVideo Also it is for sentimental value and most people who's childhood was in the 80s probably already owned and NES and had a lot of games already and since chances are they heard about this competition in the 90s they wanted a piece of history a very valuable piece of history

  • @TheSmashbros45 theres no time swich by the way cost like 60 ducks to expensive

  • @TheSmashbros45 Here is a VERY simple answer. The Nintendo World Championships (Gold Cartridge) is the RAREST game in existent. For a video game collector.....owning this game is beyond heaven. If your not a collector however....you'll never understand those who are.

  • because its only one of 18 original in the world!!!

  • @highflyingfish95 yeah, but games are made for playing them not to look at the cartridge

  • @TheSmashbros45

    Because it's golden.

  • @TheTripleAFilms Legend of Zelda is golden too

  • @TheSmashbros45 The answer to that is easy, if you're a hardcore gamer/collector. The gold cart is one of the rarest games. The game itself (no matter what color cartridge) is know as the holy grail of gaming. And there were 29 (I think) that were made or something like that.

  • @TheSmashbros45 Why would you spend $100 on a date if you can masturbate?

  • @Doobieshrum The One He Smashed is just for the Script, Pat is a Lucky Man to own Both Versions of the Cartrigde.

  • What's the point of having this.. Seriously.. Why are there just people spend so much fucking money on a game wich isn't even a real game.. They are just compilations of Super mario, Rad Racer and Taetris as far as i know.. Would you really want to spend so much money on that? In my opinion that's kinda sad.. =/

  • @TheMeleeMaster21 its old, rare, only 26 copies were released and on top of that some people probably have a lot of nostalgia for that kind of thing.imagin owning one of these in another 40+ years.

  • Does every gold cart have that little dent on front?

  • @MadaraStv yep, cheap made with sicors and glue

  • atleast it has free shipping

  • this game is horse shit.

It only has Mario, Rad Racer, and tetris, and only a tiny bit of each on it.

  • @Epirc How do you know?

  • @chosenpokemonchamp Angry Video Game nerd.

  • @chosenpokemonchamp Look at Angrry Videogame nerds review, he plays it.

also there were reproduction cartridges made of this game years later that are clear blue.

  • @Epirc Okay Thanks!

  • It would suck hat you payed that, but ended up getting a blank cartrage with the label: FUCK YOU.

  • $25,000....OH BUT IT HAS FREE SHIPPING!! HELL YEAH GREAT DEAL!

  • its like nintendo's horcruxes, and the AVGN beytrayed his brotherhood by pretending to destroy one

  • @mEdalofhonorperson Haha of course you would belive dumbshit like that.Faggot you get no cunt instead your dad fists you while your mom takes a shit in your mouth.I get more pussy than you end of story.

  • he bought your copy blogDOTpricechartingDOTcom/2009/06/how-i-got-nintendo-world-championshipsDOThtml

  • holy shit that crazy <,< 25k for that. iam 100% sure they rich

  • how do u determine if that thing is real or fake??

I could easily get a gold catridge and slot a replica of the game in and paste a sticker over it

and then sell it for 20k

  • metanse su cartucho x el culo

  • $27,000.00?? for a Nintendo World Championship cart???

  • @ZeldaMario24 i mean $25,000.00

  • i have a gold one

  • @Flapjizzle69 yeah im sure you do

  • @mEdalofhonorperson yeah its freaking awesome, all my friends try to steal it so i beat them up whenever they try to

  • @Flapjizzle69 dude i know u dont have one

  • @mEdalofhonorperson but i do,dont be jelly

  • @Flapjizzle69 ur fucking stupid u lying piece of shit =)

  • @mEdalofhonorperson how would you know kiss my ass

  • @Flapjizzle69 just stop your embarrassing yourself dumbfuck

  • @Flapjizzle69 no one believes u u fucking fagget

  • @mEdalofhonorperson Hahahahahahahahaha learn to spell you stupid shit.Do you think I care that people dont believe me?No because your mad hahahahaha cunt.

  • @Flapjizzle69 haha wow u called me cunt at least i can get some and when u said you beat your friends up all the time who try an take it i bet you have no friends haha so u should just go die

  • Only if there was found an oficial playable prototype of Atari's AirWorld, would it be more expensive than this.

  • most expensive now is Stadium Events for the NES heres a sealed copy on ebay now for $40,000

  • I got one a month ago. I feel really happy, even trough my wallet needs a big break.

  • what's scary is somewhere in some random basement or bargin secondhand discount store one of these is sitting.

  • @flashaholic86 You know what sucks though? I'll NEVER find one of these at a secondhand discount store because I live in Australia. :(

  • @Theavividgamer once again I said there were 26 cartridges total.

  • I could get a 2008 Honda Civic Coupe Si for less than this game

  • im almost positive there were 26 copies, not just 11

  • @iamenjoi there were 25

  • @supermariobrosfan92 there was 26, 90 of them were normal carts and 26 were made of solid gold. :)

  • @jglwba Yeah, remembered after i posted it.

  • @iamenjoi 90 in total, 26 known to day 11 of them being gold.

  • @n0usernameforme Wrong, there was 119, and 26 were gold. Only 12 of the gold ones have surfaced though

  • @iamenjoi maybe the 11 is all that has survived?

  • @mandy26lez Make that 10, AVGN smashed his copy

  • @GonnaGetCuboned No. Those where fake. He showed the real ones after the credits.

  • @darththork99 ha ha, yeah. I screamed when I saw him bash them in! He got me :)

  • @GonnaGetCuboned watch it to the end he didn't

  • @Madblaster89 Ohhh, yeah, I didnt see the very end

  • @iamenjoi

Read it again. 26 made, 11 known to exist. The other 15 may have been destroyed/lost or in some random person's collection, and for all they know, it's worth nothing.

  • @iamenjoi You are correct but only 11 at the time (12 now) have ever surfaced to the public!

  • @iamenjoi you don't read, there were 26, but only 11 are known to exist

  • Comment removed

  • @iamenjoi he says theres 11 that are extremely rare learn to read man that includes the sports game and others

  • @iamenjoi 15 were destoryed or dont work

  • I bought this.

I went to play it, and it was just Mario/Duck Hunt, wtf.

  • @Meetero You might have gotten ripped off?

  • @Meetero Mario, Rad Racer and Tetris actually.

  • u could buy a car for 25,000

  • NintendoTylurs

  • would be a nice addition to any collection, but I can't see myself spending that much money for it. Even for the holy grail of nes collecting, I couldn't spend that much for one.

  • There were 26 made, not 11.

  • @Steelzmeister

yeah, but actually only 11 are know to be owned so they are the only ones avaliable

  • whats so amazingabout this game? IT has only 4 leves! 2 of mario that racing game and tetrix wow

  • @xxsergio59xx its not if its good or not, it was an exclusive prize to winners of the 1990 nintendo world championship no one else got them, and nobody knows where they are. ebay is the only place where they have known to be found.

  • @backstreetsbev Haa they are prizes! Now i get it since they are unique that;s why they are so expensive! Ight thanks :D

  • @xxsergio59xx collectors value

  • Well cant have been silver (simply cuz there havent even been a silver nwc ´90). So if yours was silver. It would be a one of a kind. And also If you had a box for it and threw it away when it became damaged from water, you made your lifes misstake, It would prolly sell on ebay for more than the game. Even if it was damaged. Why? because there never were a "box" for this game. So ye, dont put up lies on youtube if u cant even google for some info first.

  • Hehe you got me there ;) Tried to troll and got beaten ! Anyways, the guy who REALLY possess this cartridge is one really lucky guy.

  • you are so full of crap. thats bull and you know it.

  • I so wish it was mine :p

The rarest game as I have is the Stadium Events...but that is nothing compared to this o.o

  • Is it real gold? o.O

  • i was about to ask the same thing

  • that much for this?! WOW it better be worth it

  • i just beat off to that video and all those beautiful pics omfg!

  • wow you nintendo fans are crazy..

  • i thought the front label was red?

  • Unfortunately the label was a mockup. This explains the lack of a cut out square for the dip switches in the photo. In reality, the Golds were made from the official grays cartridges.

  • I would never sell this if I got it

  • I woud because i got so much moneh :P

  • someone bought it for 17,500 today

  • he didn't buy this one, what do you think prompt/possessed him to buy it?

  • yea i just read it on yahoo

  • i swear i had this game back in the day....i cant believe it is worth this much!

  • how did you get it?

  • Is this your cart?

  • I wish, but no its owned by a ebay seller under the name of Unish25.

  • @Gamester81 AVGN Has one

  • @yohsahrdcrpirate no he doesnt. both the carts in that episode were owned by Pat.

  • @genintari I can't beileve He Destroyed BOTH of Them.

  • @conradojavier he didn't destroy them. look end credits attentively

  • @conradojavier did you watch the end of the video? watch until the very end.

  • Yeah, I heard about the auction over at GameSniped a few days ago. I dunno,

$25,000 is a shitload of money for something that has its rom dumped and reproduced. Had the NWC cart not been dumped for reproduction - I would've justified the $25,000 price. But the fact that anyone can now purchase a reproduction cart or emulate the NWC rom makes $25,000 very difficult to swallow. I wouldn't even trade my two Shigeru Miyamoto autographed games for this. The price has to come WAY down, IMHO .

  • your gonna regret sellin it man
