i got the same bike is an 05 and i have the same exhaust mine is aluminun and they sound the same also a k/n air filter power commander flush signals lowered two inches im really happy with my ninja the only bad thing i dont like is in long trips my wrist start to hurt other than that is a missile lol. ride till u satisfied lol. peace

nice bike, don't know if you have already or not but sounds like you need to adjust your idle with the knob thats behind the fairing on the left side as you sit on it right side as you look at it. I keep mine at 1500 just a suggestion. Love these 636's!

i see flush mount front blinkers, fender eliminator, fram sliders, and a yoshi exhaust.... yoshi wouldnt be my choice for my kawi because yoshi is made for suzuki, and the akrapovic sounds much better, but hey whatever u like.

yoshi are not just made for suzuki....plus suzuki and kawasaki are pretty much the same..not much different.

no i meant what i said!!....suzuki and kawasaki are the top dog in sportbikes and they pretty much produce about the same horsepower in 600cc and 1000cc.....

I agree you and I have the same bike But I have a akrapovic exhaust. I've had mine for about a year and I have to do a couple of things still. I just think yosh could of done a little better.

the idle sounds fine, thats just how they are. quite lumpy until they warm up alot.

maken3...i'm kinda same situation as you....riding a 250 right now, gonna go get a new '06 zx-6r in about a month....basically you won't be disappointed with any of the 600SS bikes, but the ZX-6R is consistently rated near the top.

maken3 you can get a yamaha r6 or r1!lol or even the ninja zx-10r!but for a 600cc if i were you i would get a yamaha !
