  • @TubeBkg Delighted to hear you are getting in the mood for a TZH, my friend. Cheers, DC

  • @redgreen09 LOL, and yes, it'd probably get that many more speeding tickets! HA.

  • Hey Doc, that looks hella nice!!!! Lots of things going on. Hey, I do see a pop up hatch on the top of the crew cab though. just thrown' another Idea out there for You.!

  • @ArtofScaleModeling Yes, I am thinking about something up there. Maybe a hatch is what it needs. Thanks for staying tuned in.

  • Ohhh im such a hater right now I love that kit

  • @FuKnsHytUp You'd love these types of builds.

  • out of this world love it

  • If I were to choose a vehicle after the 'event' then it would definitely be a van.

You have the weight, the space and the shear bulk.

    Zombie eater.

  • @gyrusse Yes, vans are cool. They are pretty fast mini fortresses!

  • Very cool!

  • @atomicdog32 Thank you. Stay tuned in.

  • Now that's what you do with a van I wanna do some sniping for you till I get my monster built

  • @TheNeo519 LOL! Sure thing, buddy.

  • I would like to know who the one person who disliked this vid is ?

  • @primativemodelling Who knows? I have a couple of haters that EYEGORE really would like to use as fire hydrants. LOL!

  • Oh my goodness, it's a spoon! LOL That is too cool, I love it.

  • @Generalsplatton Yes, it is! From Wendy's too! LOL!

  • Wow you are stayin busy doc. great work so far....

  • @ModelMakerMike Trying to get the year off to a good start.

  • i love it awesome idea doc....haven't done another update yet but this semi from hell i'm working on is a beast coming together real nice can't wait to show the finished product its over 2 1/2 ft long.... one big death machine

  • @TOASTEDHEAD420 Cool, it's all about the fun. And you will have plenty of it. These builds are really addictive.

  • If the Gremlin came out extraordinary in a couple of days, I cant imagine the results on this van. Another amazing trip with the Doc!!!

  • @Theoldboypr We'll see how this one turns out.

  • where can I get some screen or mesh to spray over with silver to get that carbon fiber look?

  • @boxbuyer2008 Check the HO section of your hobby shop, or look on line. I know Michaels has the mesh in the sculpting section.

  • oh shit that's awesome,Doc. where are these ideas from? is it a video game? or like that space wolves game that people build the characters? seems very interesting. I might do my '68 "Judge" like these "road warrior" type.

  • @boxbuyer2008 I guess from all over, buddy. Yes, I was influence, like many of us, by the Road Warrior/Mad Max movies. But it's a mixture of everything, and a deep desire to shoot Zombies, and Toothless Zombies at that! LOL! Thanks for the kind words, and stay tuned in.

  • Nice plan for this van! The sniper stand is perfect! Love it all doc!

  • @pturley84 Thanks, Paul. I am making progress, stay tuned in for an update.

  • i have an amt 1950 chevy pickup it shows it in whit with red fenders im think about doin it like this have you built tht kit befor?

  • @crashandcynder Nope, first time. It has a few little ticks, but nothing major.

  • hey doc! that is kool. love the van/pickup body!! nice armor plating on the sides!

  • @samfrye1 Thanks, Sam. Yes, it's more fun up ahead!

  • Doc someone needs to build a post apocalypse boat... do you have a boat kit? I am doing my train and would love to see vehicles besides cars and trucks happening. after all the earth is covered with water... remember waterworld ? ...hehehe

    loving the van so far

  • @TheRocketSilo I hope someone would do a boat, you bet. All vehicles would be welcomed. I often thought of marrying a 65 Mustang with a boat hull, but I don't know of any boats in 1/25th scale, except those that come with those truck kits Revell put out many years ago.

  • you really do got a great imagination right down to explaining how the machine will be used. I think that's great. Just was wondering, I saw in another commment were you said you don't sell any of your models. So do you have like a great big diorama going on. or some kind of display for your creations would really like to see that too. P.S. love the intro music and comment's at the end nice touch.

  • @tbluthardtjr1969 That's right, I don't sell my work in part because I like to keep it around and play with it. Yes, I have dioramas and display cases, etc . . . it's all so much fun. Thank you for the wonderful comments and for staying tuned in. There should be more fun in the coming months, and years. Best, DC

  • N I C E ! I love the use of the spoon for the front sniper armor. Super sweet build, Doc. Can;t wait to see the color magic you do with the weathering and paint.

  • @rmaster1ruby Paint is off until I finish the chassis, which should be in the next couple of days. I will keep you posted. Best, DC

I would like to know where you got the mesh material from, what is the name of it so that I can search google to try and find it.

    Peace

  • @GetYourModelOn The mesh comes from the craft stores. They use it for clay sculpture casting. Check Michaels and/or Dick Blick. Thanks for the support.
