crowd wasn't lame, they just didn't know the words of the songs, for 3 reasons : 1.they didn't know english; 2. this was the first time most of them heard any metallica song; 3. most of the crowd weren't metalheads or rockers, but simply young people who came to listen to a music - metalheads were maybe like 10%, and were mostly in the front part. It was really hard to be a metalhead in russia in those red days.

Metallica are a great Country music band, I put them on the same level as Jethro Tull, Jethro won a Grammy over Metallica but the Academy got it right.

The incessant banter back and forth between James and the drunken crowd (Common in the Country Music Scene) Allows Lars to get back some energy, nothin' like a nice Fill followed by almost inaudible Double Bass.

In fact some country bands have the Double Bass tuned to the point where you can't even hear it!

Lars will get the hang of it though.
