  • velvet, velvet, velvet, velvet, velvet, velvet, velvet, velvet, velvet, velvet, velvet, velvet,

  • I can't wait for Sacrifice, it's always good. Last year it was the most underated PPV of the year.

  • Sacrifice was always one of TNA's better PPV's imo at the exception of Sacrifice 2008.

  • Is the ending gonna be a comedy skit with everyone falling in a hole again...

WHO WILL SACRIFICE THEMSELVES INTO THE HOLE OF DOOM.

  • 12 PPVs are too much, in my opinion.

What TNA should do is half that number. Having a PPV every two months, and have a 3-hour iMPACT in between the PPVs.

This will allow more storylines to develop and become meaningful, and give more time to promote each PPV.

    That should increase PPV buys.

Also, PPVs shouldn't be in the iMPACT Zone. Tour smaller arenas, with capacities of <5000. You could sell them out that way.

Also, do a PPV in the UK.

Thanks for reading, if you did.

  • @TheConorDowds

Also, people in the UK should have a better deal than others, don't you think?

Being that TNA is beating RAW's ratings in the UK, you could see that you have a strong fanbase there, but they get PPVs on the Friday after, and iMPACT on the Saturday!

    That isn't good, a 5 day delay!

What you should do TNA, is try and get a better deal.

What you should do is have PPVs air on Monday Nights and iMPACT on Tuesday Nights (or live for both).

And have them both air on Bravo.

  • @TheConorDowds

TNA. I mentioned earlier about the PPVs touring smaller arenas, and venues. I think it would be the smarter move for you. Going to the likes of the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York. Or even if you went to that club WCW went to for Spring Break, air a Spring PPV there annually.

Also, a PPV in the UK (and an iMPACT) would be a good way to treat your fans. If you almost sold out Wembley Arena for a live event, you'd definitely do it for a PPV.

  • Dixie answered that question saying that TNA is on BRAVO in U.K. and to move that schedule would be there call

McMahon is the same way, he's giving a time slot to run his shows by the network, the only reason Superstars exists is because contrary to popular believe Vince is aware of TNA on Thursday Nights and when Smackdown! moved back to Fridays he had to get another show instead as he couldn't keep Smackdown! on Thursdays

Think Vince wants his 2nd biggest show on a Friday? No way

  • @TheConorDowds cant agree with you more

  • @TheConorDowds yea they have enough wrestlers to do this idea

  • @TheConorDowds 8-10 would be a good number

Give more build up time to the bigger PPV's (BFG, Lockdown, etc)

  • @Ruman17 I think 6 is a better number. It would go like this... Jan: 3 hour iMPACT! Feb: Against All Odds Mar: 3 hour iMPACT! Apr: (A new Spring Break PPV, like WCW's Spring Break Specials) May: 3 hour iMPACT! Jun: Slammiversary Jul: 3 hour iMPACT! Aug: Hard Justice OR Destination X (Hardcore AND X-Division theme) Sep: 3 hour iMPACT! Oct: Lockdown Nov: 3 hour iMPACT! Dec: Bound for Glory I like that order, and then they could promote Slammiversary and Bound for Glory as the two big ones.
  • @TheConorDowds If you put BFG in December, sales could be impacted by Christmas plans

also, I wouldn't want to put Lockdown right before BFG you want you big PPVs spread out a little

  • @Ruman17

If anything, I think that sales could be better around Christmas time as most will be on holidays, and some could buy it as a 'gift' to themselves.

Plus NWA and WCW had Starrcade every December as their main show, and that is why I put BFG there, to follow a tradition almost.

  • @TheConorDowds Tna has 3 Big Ones First Bound For Glory Then Slammiversary Then LockDown

  • @ExtremeSuperStar94 Slammiversary is not a big ppv anymore it's going to be at the Impact Zone now

  • @TheConorDowds I agree with that although i would switch against all odds and Lockdown around. Then the 3 main ones at the moment are spaced evenly throughout the year having Lockdown in February, Slammiversary in June and Bound for Glory in December.

  • @mattdinio

You say that would spread it out, but actually it doesn't really.

With the schedule that I have suggested, Lockdown is two months before, with your suggestion, it would be two months after. So nothing would change.

And to my Spring Break PPV idea, it should take place in Club La Vela, that is where WCW aired Spring Breakout. And it could be used for the same reason that WCW used it, to attract young adults to watch TNA.

  • @TheConorDowds I see what you're saying, i just don't like the idea of a major PPV then the next ppv also being a major PPV. It doesn't really give much of the ppv story telling that TNA are fond of if that makes sense. not unless the 3 hour impacts act sort of cross between PPV and impact somewhat like the weekly ppv style when TNA started. To help build up to the Major PPVs Like Bound for Glory or Lockdown

  • @mattdinio Jan: Feb: Hard Justice OR Destination X (Hardcore AND X-Division theme) Mar: Apr: (A new Spring Break PPV, like WCW's Spring Break Specials) May: Jun: Slammiversary Jul: Aug: Lockdown Sep: Oct: Against All Odds Nov: Dec: Bound for Glory New order, only thing is that Lockdown would be close to Slammiversary now. Against All Odds is where you suggested, and I like the idea of a tournament to determine a number 1 contender leading up to Bound for Glory.
  • @TheConorDowds What do you think about TNA having another show

    (their "Smackdown" i guess)

they have a loaded roster and I dont think theyd have a problem filling anothr 2 hour show

  • @Ruman17

I do not think a second show is a good idea, personally.

I think what they should do is mix that new 'Reaction' show with 'Xplosion', and 'Epics'.

The show is an hour long. Well, actually around 45 minutes, meaning 10 minutes could be spent on an Xploision match (no need to waste time on entrances) and another 10 minutes could be spent on a 'classic' match (once again, no entrances). That would leave 25 minutes for the actual 'Reaction' part.

I think that is what they should do.

  • @TheConorDowds Thats a pretty cool idea. That would cut down costs and also give more exposure to the guys who dont have much TV team at the moment.

  • @welshceltsskewen

Thank you and that is exactly what I was thinking as I was typing it.

I also think that a show like that would get higher ratings than having three shows spread out all over the place. If they crop it all down into one show, and air it before (although I think after would be better since it is called REACTION) iMPACT, it would be much better.

  • @TheConorDowds Well put we have a strong TNA wrestling fanbase in the UK, if only there was a second videogame!

  • @Raymando3d

Now, I agree with this. If a second game is to be made, I'd like it to be by EA or Epic Games.

EA because they have lots of money to spend on production and advertising, and they could make a game to rival SVR (like EA's MMA to UFC).

Or Epic Games, as the original game used the Unreal Engine, and Epic could take the first game as a foundation, and just build upon it, use the engine to its full use and make a great game.

  • @TheConorDowds Very well put again yh they need the unreal engine i think EA can do it they just need the right team maybe the ex-Infinity Ward member i just wishing there and hoping

  • @TheConorDowds In case you didn't notice over the last two months TNA promoted Lockdown even before Destination X. They build a card for the secondary PPVs while building to their next major PPV as well.

  • @TheConorDowds The thing is TNA wants to cut down the number of PPVs per year to roughly 6-8 but they're in contract with the cable or PPV companies which ever deals with PPVs so until that contract is over, or they;re in a position to re-negoitiate they're stuck with the current schedule.

Think of it this way. since Against all odds was basically build for Lockdown, the show would seem much better if Destination X wasn't in the way. TNA only has like 8 hours to build for a PPV.

  • @UnlimitedProdiction1

Yes, I understand what you are saying.

And if they were to use my schedule, it would allow for 17 hours to build up on each PPV (Seven 2-hour iMPACTs and one 3-hour iMPACT).

And if they were to use the Reaction show that I have suggested, it would give around 4 hours more to build up feuds (as I said that 25 minutes would be spent on the actual Reaction part) and with an Epics and Xplosion match included, it would be a very good show, and could attract more viewers.

  • @TheConorDowds Keep Genesis for January, move Destination X to February, skip March because everybody will just be watching Wrestlemania anyway, keep Lockdown for April, get rid of Sacrifice and skip May, keep Slammiversary for June, skip July, move Turning Point to August, skip September, keep Bound for Glory for October, skip November and keep Final Resolution for December.

  • @TheConorDowds one prob,tna can't compete with raw,especially around wrestlemania time
