BORING BORING BORING BULLSHIT. The person who posted this video IS A DICK SUCKING RETARD!! STOP WASTING INTERNET SPACE WITH BULLSHIT LIKE THIS!!!!!!!
Ugly plane and too big that it hit everything it sees, even airbus pilots hit things while on it, thinking they are more used to it than other pilots... Thats why this plane suck big time....
Yes the aircraft fly to Toulouse at low speed with a "scotch" closed wingtip and was fast repaired (damage was light) The crushed construction is recent and not in place at the first visit from the A380 in Le Bourget, so the question is: where give the autorization to built this more narrow from the taxiway as the other constructions...
@TeamLayCoolx The A380 was a flash in the pan as no airline has added an order in over 2 yrs and the sales numbers remain at 236 sold, they need to sel over 1,000 to turn a profit. When you see the thumbs down vote below the A380 videos, those are done by the airlines that already have the A380
Airbus and Boeing are like Microsoft and Apple competing to gain more share in the market but everytime they compete they forget about the quality of their products, quality not quantity, is important!
@douchechillum What a stupid fucking name "douchechillum". Really makes you think of a douchebag when you hear his words. And that's the point. Every name relate to the final product. Airbus > Transporting people in the air from A to B. Douchechillum > Sprinkle everyone with his stupidity. Thank you, this is free of charge. Airbus takes some millions though.
@wanis76 But not in time for the show. Apparently, they had to find another as a stand-in, hence my "French Fags" comment. Doesn't matter anyway. As Archie Bunker would say: "France is a fag country"...
@CJCA915 Cost is not an issue whatsoever, get real. And the French deserve their reputation as Fags; won't get any argument from anybody except Frenchmen on that score - you're the ignorant one regarding that matter.
@beeroosterm Ummmm, you realize how much it costs to build one of these planes? Millions, in the case of the A380, $375.3 million USD.
Chances are the plane was fixed, after these photos were taken, duh.
Um, the only use of the word "fag" towards someone in a demeaning manner is as homosexual slang, and by ignorant people, as for Frenchman, I doubt all French people are homosexuals...
Well, I'm not from France, or any European country for that matter.
@CJCA915 Lighten up, Francis. The fact that the plane is new is the reason why it will be fixed regardless of cost; what is your fucking point here? And I don't need a lecture on the derogatory use of the word "fag". Much like "nigger" is used in the brotherhood, it is used by homos themselves as a term of endearment or familiarity and as such is non-threatening. And for your information, I have it on good authority that most Frenchmen are indeed fags. Read between the lines, Francis...
@beeroosterm First of all, I live in the US, born and raised, nor am I a female... so you're feeble attempt at trying to insult me, by calling me Francis, is futile, not to mention dumb.
Also, I know many gays, including myself that don't like the use of it, towards people, much like I know many black people who don't like the n word... just because a few use it, doesn't mean it's right... you need to think before you speak, seriously.
What is your good authority, some bullshit hearsay?
@CJCA915 "Francis" is masculine, dummy; "Frances" is the feminine form. And although you're acting like a chick, I did not think you were one when responding. Never made a comment on your nationality, either. Your lack of erudition is boring, much like your comments on your faggotry, which I could care less about. For the record, I refer to Christopher Hitchens' take on homosexuality: "Homosexuality is not only a form of sex, but a form of love. As such, it must command respect". Enough said...
@beeroosterm Well, regardless, who cares, you're just throwing out things. How am I acting like a chick? That's assuming that their is an objective way to act like a chick... which is a very narrow perception...
May lack of erudition? Considering, I'm not one to argue semantics, etc. I'm a science person first and foremost, so you can just drop that lack of erudition bull, and besides, ignorance is universal, I don't think you're omniscient either.
Also, you can use all the inflammatory words you like, "faggotry" which isn't even a word, frankly, and it doesn't impress me, or anyone else, except for religious fundamentalists.
Ummmm, okay... and your point, on quoting Hitchens'?
Actually this is a fairly simple repair. The wingtip is designed to break with minimal impact to preserve the primary structure of the wing, so shear bolts take the load. The wingtip was simply replaced within 24 hours and returned to the paris air show. It is a simple repair. The cost would have been 1 wingtip and a number of hours labour.
@braddo301 I didn't say it was a hard repair, I said it's more costly than people may think. Yea, within 24 hours, that's a long time... it's not just a quick simply 25 minute repair... 24 hours is a big loss in the aviation industry, commercial use or otherwise...
What is your area of expertise, do you work for Airbus, or something?
Also, my dad's an aircraft mechanic, right now, but he has worked Boeing to name one company...
I looked at your channel... and just because you're from the UK, doesn't mean anything... I've seen plenty of fat European's... some of which are from the UK... also, not all American's are fat... not that it's any of your concern...
This accident is not due to a fault in the plane design but a human error in judgement that caused the plane's wing tip to scraped a building. The A380 is very impressive.
@juanjillocr Well it's not specific '' like every other plane '', I mean look at how many accidents happened since the entry of the A380. I didn't see the Boeing 747 nor another plane made so many accidents in so short period of time of when it started flying...
@DJUygur100 Man, I don't mean to be rude, but don't be an idiot. First, they are called INCIDENTS, not accidents, there's a huge difference. Second, let's recap the incidents: 1-this one in this video, due it's huge size 2-Airfrance hitting some plane's tip, due a ATC error 3-Emirates emergency stop due a medical emergency 4-Qantas landing gear, mechanical issue 5-Qantas engine explosion. I guess that would be it. Number 1, 2 and 3 has nothing to do with malfunctions...
...number 4, sure, that was an incident. Number 5? Airbus don't make engine. They aren't to blame due a RR malfunction. So, A380 has been flying for over 4 years now, not like 4 months. Incidents happen ALL the time, to all kinds of planes, and thank god accidents so little. This plane is the greatest and most complex plane ever built, and in a hurry, so I'd say it's fair to give it credit. Regarding the incidents, as you see now, not a big deal. This whale incredible, amazing and beautiful.
@juanjillocr Afcourse, I don't insult Airbus or the A380, besides, I like them even more than Boeing. But still, it happens sad enough. I like this '' King of the Air '' too afcourse..
@plasticspastic201 that s it chief, mind you don't forget that airbus is also english jerk, just so you know stupid fuck....what's yer problem with French people anyway stiff ass?
@backpackerable You just need to calm the fuck down, People can say whatever they want about boeing or airbus or whatever the fuck theyre talking about. So stop cussing at people about their opinions and get a life.
It's not just the A380 that has these sort of problems. Recently a Delta 767 hit a CRJ in a similar way to the AF A380 in New York. (They seem to be picked on a lot) Really just comes down to airport management and pilot's decisions
Wow, collison with an CRJ at JFK and collision with a build at the show? I'm quite... um... laughing out loud. I'm awaiting the 787 - Pricness of the Skies to be inargurated in the future.
Hmm, bit of a pilot error that :P tbh I think Airbus' design of the A380 is a bit too big. The aircraft has had numerous problems namely in the Quantas Fleet.
And yes I am a Boeing fan but that doesn't mean that I don't appreciate the design of Airbus, I just feel personally that the aircraft Is too big and airports have to take measures to accommodate such a large aircraft. Pilots that fly the A380 need to handle it with due care and attention too because of its size ;)
For you people who say "If it's not boeing...I'm not flying", that has to be the most ridiculous comment ever! The A380's wings are made out of the most sophisticated materials out there! And the blame is not on Airbus, but on the pilot who miscalculated the trajectory...it's that simple...sh*t happens! I'm both a fan of Boeing and AirBus, they both have their pro's and con's, but the A380 has to be the most comfortable airliner I've ever been in!
@joejayd I don't get your point, here is a pilot error... do you actually think that your "boeings" feature some sort of a radar that sounds an alarm in the cockpit anytime the damn thing gets to close to a building???? it ain't no SUV bro..gosh where have you been?
@backpackerable i mean i really only fly boeing cause the national airline in the bahamas has 737 n das wa i only get to fly on. i like airbus but only da a330
Not once but TWICE and within a period of one month span. Und since im part German, if to add insult to injury the wing the Paris Air Show A380 clipped its wings with a building that was owned by the same people who built the CRJ the Air France A380 clipped at JFK airport, abliet on the opposing wing.
And what do you mean "who cares?" Lots of people care.
And the A380 does not need "more positive publicity" for "jobs and orders to stay ahead"; airlines and employers will not change and make decisions just because of one YouTube video and one small error made by a pilot.
And even if this person is in fact "anti a380", that does not make him/her hate the UK.
Call it UK bashing if you must. It's an easy cop-out for the fact that the aircraft is too large to safely move around airports, even by the company pilots who certify and type-rate other airline pilots on the airframe type.
Ground movement is a basic skill that everyone has to master, more so at the revenue Airline level where you have to move a bird like this around numerous vehicles, and other aircraft.
IF this was a Il-96 or a 787. I'd still be worried.

@Greddy305 not anymore the new 787 and 747-8 now have the most sophisticated wing meterial and design out there now.

Stop with all this Boeing vs Airbus crap.
Boeing planes can get fucked up just as much as an Airbus plane can.

in real life is proven , the wing tip of an embraer legacy is stronger then a 737-800 wing

Not once but TWICE and within a period of one month span. Und since im part German, if to add insult to injury the wing the Paris Air Show A380 clipped its wings with a building that was owned by the same people who built the CRJ the Air France A380 clipped at JFK airport, abliet on the opposing wing.

How the hell is this "anti a380"?
And what do you mean "who cares?" Lots of people care.
And the A380 does not need "more positive publicity" for "jobs and orders to stay ahead"; airlines and employers will not change and make decisions just because of one YouTube video and one small error made by a pilot.
And even if this person is in fact "anti a380", that does not make him/her hate the UK.

least air korea let them use their a380.
