  • it's good to think that someone, somewhere can do something to save that lovely car !

  • Did they film this with a calculator?

  • Comment removed

  • looks like Ferrari

  • @mattuniversiloise Looks nothing like a Ferrari

  • I should be restoring this, not watching it on Youtube

  • Dont matter I would buy

  • joe dirt

  • It's only a CLONE! Does everybody NOT read the description?! Thing is only worth as much as some one is willing to pay.

  • ill give you $35,000 cash for the classic

  • RIP

  • You shoulda open the hood so you could see if it had any worth then bring that beautiful lioness back to life(:

  • Whaaattt bitcheeess ?!!

  • Once upon a time dad almost bought one of these as a family car. I actually prefer the looks of the Superbird without the nose piece and tail.

  • I'm JOE DIRT!

  • thats not real, its a kit car made in 1984 by Ronald Staulberg of Oregan

    its called the firehawk

  • there is only 2 in the world

  • @mattrule2 2 whatt in the world

  • that hurts my heart

  • this is so unamerican to put a pure american muscle into a junk yard wheres this palce at i will get it and rebuild it and put it right where it needs o be......ON THE ROAD!!!!!!

  • this is wrong in so many ways this is american putting a true american muscle into a junk yard like that. it needs to be on the road. this is sad

  • man what the hell is wrong with people treating a sweet ass car like that

  • AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GOD DAMNIT THIS IS AGAINST THE L AW!

  • @sk1llblack haha dude it was a clone, if it was a real daytona it wouldve been in a garage at least if the owner knew anything

  • @FantasticMRmike

Still, should be against the law. Even its a poorly executed clone.

  • @sk1llblack mhmm chargers sure are nice

  • i can hear it scream "BUY ME, GET ME THE FUCK OUTTA HERE"

  • :'( i want iiiiiiit

  • i am crying

  • I guarantee thats a charger with daytona parts fitted on it.

  • @snower5554 as it says in the description....

  • WTF Happen?

  • Fully restored the car goes for 100G ... Someone restore this...

  • I give you 100dollarsDX

  • Rust In Peace

  • Damn shit whats the point of that ?

  • This is a crime!

  • you would have to have memory/brain damage to disclose the local!!! and you aint gonna steal this car!!! im sure some idiot was so excited he probably blew any chance of scoring it lol!!

  • Nope all dodges have a longer wheelbase than plymouth counter part.

  • Would you say it is smaller then the S-Bird?

  • WHAT'S THE ADDRESS?!

  • It does look like a 69 Charger looking at the rear quarters and pillar but the rear wing on top is tilted and they didn't have that option.Only on the 70 Superbird.Something funny there.Maybe a clone or a wing replacement from a 70 S-Bird.Me curious. You?

  • Well, I'm unlucky, I live seas away from that junkyard. I can't come and knock at the boss's office door and say " Hey sir, how much for the rusted pussy wagon ? "

  • damn was this filmed with a fuckin toaster or what

  • * kills baby* WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS!!!!

  • how sad

  • Fuckin haters. Always gotta rip on a classic. First, not a real one its a clone, second, even if it is not a real Daytona it is still a good starter car for a clone or put back original. Also, this is not a Superbird. Different body lines and nose cone.

  • WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?!?!?!?

  • @derick767 ok cheers :D

  • thats a plymouth superbird

  • @hennerz1110 no the superbird is a little bit different.. and i think that the superbird's head lights are closer.

  • @hennerz1110 That is NOT a superbird... the Plymouth superbird was based off of the 1970 Road Runner and the Daytona (clone above in this video) was a 1969 Dodge Chager.. they were completely different cars and even the nose cones and wings were different.

  • @Btownbrown30 r u on fucking meth u dumb ass how is that not a superbird

  • @thecrazywhiteboy21 Am i on meth??? ONLY IF I WAS STUPID ENOUGH TO CALL THAT A SUPERBIRD. most smart people (unlike yourself) would be able to tell a superbird from a daytona. Any mopar guy can clearly see from the back quarter panels and roof this is no superbird. You should go play in traffic kid.

  • @thecrazywhiteboy21 It is not a Superbird because it is a Dodge Daytona. So, I conclude that blownbrown30 is not on 'fucking meth' and is not a 'dumb ass'.

However, given your willingness to call people names even though you are completely wrong, I would have to say that you are the 'fucking meth dumb ass"

  • @thecrazywhiteboy21 yes it is u dumb crack baby

  • Comment removed

  • @hennerz1110 yeah no....thats a Daytona i dont know how people get confused a charger does not look like a roadrunner at all. its like calling a car a pickup...

  • dam my favorite muscle car, other than the 67 stingray

  • i stand corrected, they did come with the nose, but you could get them without it

  • there are alot of differences between a charger and a superbird, one is the nose, charger did NOT have that, second, the superbird was only made for one year, that would be 1970. if it is a 69 daytona, it had the nose put on it, still bad ass though, not worth even close to half what a superbird is, but again fucking sweet, i want that

  • I got a feeling that at $500,000+ for a nice example this untidy wreck didnot remain a wreck for long.

It may have been purchased for the spare parts or as a restoration project but with so few genuine cars remaining the owner of this scrap yard was laughing all the way to the nearest bank.

I live in the Uk but have sat in a normal R/T Dodge Charger and couldnot get over the size compared to European cars.

    The daytona was larger still

  • Probably more trouble than its worth if it was have assedly cloned. Still be a nice project though

  • cool!

  • that is not a charger it is a superbird

  • @coltsfanalltheway1 hey dumbass charger daytona is the same platform as plymouth superbird . so it is a charger , get your facts straight

  • If that is a real daytona it is one of only 502 ever produced in 1969! how the hell can someone let that rot? Clone it's one of a lot of clones but still sweet looking ride.

  • i rescued a 69 charger in a junkyard in 2003 and it had the #'s matching 440 and 727 tranny and i rebuilt it 4 years later now i have a beautiful general lee

  • i love dodge, but never to crazy about the daytona's rip off the wing and the arrow front end and bam.. you got a general lee in the making!

  • @reVerse22productions General Lee over a Daytona ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME! Don't get me wrong here I like General Lee's to, But a Daytona Clone or not they were the thang! I was a young kid just 13 when they were new it was all about Richard Petty back then. Way before the General was around.

  • @redsrat56 i just dont like the look of a daytona as much as the plain charger, dont get me wrong i would love to have a restored daytona but would rather have the straight charger.

  • @reVerse22productions Well I can understand that because they were Bad Azz when Bad Azz was Bad Azz.

  • @redsrat56 yes... yes they were... oh and there still bad ass!

  • Honestly, who thought of Joe Dirt?

  • @Floordford That shit'll buff out!

  • f*** whoever but that car in a junkyard

  • there used to be a pretty common rule of thumb in the late 80s. Push it in and it's halfway decent..50 to 100 bucks. Drive it in, 200. Drive in and in half way decent shape, who knows, maybe 250 for a no name car, like maybe an 80 delta 88 but say it's a duster, clean, just faded, 318 car, might pay 500 bucks if it isn't all dented up. AND it was like going to the pawn shop. You went in broke and walked away with money. This guy knows what he got. probably paid accoringly and wants a decent buck

  • That made me cry

  • Did you buy it? Im a Chevy man, but I would have left w/ that one even if its a clone, which it most likely is. Where is it at?

  • I think author did this video when he buy this Dodge at restovration :) (THIS IS GOOD :)

  • This is the very definition of sin.Whoever 'dumped' this beautiful machine and left it scared, all alone and helpless should be severely beaten.

  • oh, hell, just shoot me now!

  • thats bull shit !!!! who would let a car like that just sit and rot !!!

  • @93musle It's an odd thing, finding valuable vehicals in the "junk yard". Ever cross you mind that the yard owner knew what he was looking at? Maybe the guy was facing homelessness if he didn't pay his rent. Maybe he was crack head and will hate himself to his dying day for letting that piece of history go to a junkyard. I think people make the mistake of thinking cars that get into yards are all given to the yard. I sold cars to yards. They know what cars a worth. I got good money for a couple

  • It'll get restored. No need to worry :p

  • wow shows you how smart you are hahah thats not a fucking charger you dumb ass its a dam roadrunner lol tell by the front bumper and the rear wing

  • @Hougie31 the roadrunner was a charger just the nosecone and spoiler were added

  • @stumpy166521 Nope! They were both B bodies BUT,the 69 Charger was a 69 Charger. The 70 S-Bird was a Road Runner with 70 Dodge Coronet fenders. Both wings & noses were different. The wing top on the 69 Charger could not be adjusted but could on the 70 S-Bird.The rear windows were modified from stock at the factory. The 70 S-Bird had external metal pieces outside the A pillar. They were both very different but looked the same at a glance. There's more too.Do your homework. These cars are SPECIAL!

  • check out my abandon cars in indiana video. lots of mopars!

  • @Btownbrown30 Abandon cars?Oh,abandoned cars. That means that they are there for the taking.Right?Abandoned?Just going by what you type.Abandoned?

  • @MrJohnnyDistortion Lol, oops! **Abandoned** but I some of the cars I show pictures of ARE for the taking since there is no sign of an owner & the person who owns the property doesnt want them! =P

  • @Btownbrown30 Glad you have a sense of humor.From Btown?I'm north of Btown,8 miles.It was a clone eh?I'll be.Well,if you're gonna clone somethin',might as well be a S-Bird.Or,a Cy-clone.Bwahahahahahahaha.

  • WHYYY ...... WHYY...OUH WHYY

  • it's making me sad to se carse like theese beeing just dumped on the junk yard..

  • I would of saved this clone :( maybe someone did :)

  • It is not fair.

The owner of this car is a piece of shit.

  • Is it a guy named chris? I know the yard changed hands.

  • @ragtopcat70

I don't know who owner of yard. I just wanted to say that normal owner would bring this car to a normal condition.

  • Sad :(

  • this is racism!

  • @Nza420 you sir make no sense

  • @TheKORIYOU you sir, have no sense of humor!

  • how much? i buy it!!

  • i buy it! how much?

  • the first car to break 200mph in nascar... so they banned them

  • I wonder what idiot owns that junkyard and didn't immediately turn around and try to sell it

  • @wartactics

Probably someone who likes the car and wants to keep it you dopey bastard.

  • 5 people own fords

  • Real 69 daytonas had fender scoops and a flush mounted rear window. No fender scoops makes me skeptical. Also the mesh covered headlights are not correct. My guess is it's a charger se with a wing and the fiberglass bolted to the front. Maybe someone used this dirt tracking some years ago hence why it's in a junkyard

  • @carljmacdonald Good guess, though that front end won't last long on a dirt track. Dirt track=routine body damage.

  • oh my god, FUCKING MURDERERS!!

  • it would be nice to have a clone just to drive.. it would suck if you got in an accident with a real DAYTONA

  • its in the right place its shit

  • oh I'm just gonna put a 300,000 dollar car in a junk yard

  • Joe Dirt forgot his car AGAIN!!

  • i would steel that

  • How could ANYONE treat this car that way?!

  • save this car...

  • save him!!!!!!!

  • Poor daytona needs some critical restoring

  • how much do u want for it. and is it for sale

  • I would take that home WTF is it doing in a junkyard? people these days just don't know the money you put into restoring cars doubles or triples when you sell it, or they are clue less what the damn thing is and scrap it.

  • @CoreySkate Actually, you have that backwards. You could spend 2-3 times the value of car restoring it than its worth when your finished. Labor and replacement parts kills you.

  • @carljmacdonald You never know, until you see it in person

  • @carljmacdonald it really depends on the value of the car and how much restoration it needs and what you put into it initially and what it costs to restore it. If you do the work yourself you save a lot of money. if the restoration is crappy and incorrect you won't sell it for a good price. The best time to pick up these cars was in the late 70s to early 80s before the market went through the roof. Sometimes people want a ridiculous amount for just a Hemi shell..

  • @carljmacdonald That's why you do the work yourself. If you have to send it to a mechanic or spraypainter you're never going to get your money back. But, if you can do the work yourself the only real killers are storage and parts.

  • this video gave me more grief than the fucking tsunami in japan

  • eca

  • the peson that did this to this car needs to be shot

  • why....?

  • ese arreglado sale unos cuantos millones buenos

  • a dodge doing what it does best

  • I'm relieved to read it's not real, but even a Charger in the junkyard gives me a bad feeling, though it's fine since it's for sale. I only hope it goes to someone who will bring it back to its former Mopar glory.

  • SAVE THE MUSCLE CARS... Can't you see their tears, hear their screams; if you prick them do they not leak trany fluid? Oh the horror! Please save a MOPAR today!

  • even in the grainy video the rear wing just doesnt seem right, might just be the angle of the video although

  • Daytonas are nice but I would take a Charger over a Daytona ANYDAY!

  • @Hollowman110886 You dipshit, this IS a Charger. And a clone of the Charger Daytona, at that.

A Dodge Daytona is not the same as a Dodge Charger Daytona.

  • @dafunkmonster If you would learn to read dumbass you would see I know its a charger and I would of kept it a charger instead of replicaing a daytona. You get it???

  • @dafunkmonster HUH WHAT?

  • first of all , the daytona front is UGLY ! and , I'm sorry to see a charger treated so badly :(

  • i thought you said you had a hemi...

  • Too bad there isn't a rear shot of the car to show the window. You'd be able to find out if it's a clone or not. In order to clone a 69 Daytona properly is to use a 69 Charger 500 due to it's rear window configuration.

  • eny dodge charger looks goo if there ur dream car like they daytona and 69 rt.

  • @stupidrider53 means it has really big rear tires and the wheel wells had to be cut and streached to modify it

  • superbirdddddddddd

  • clone or not, id buy that in a heart beat

  • @IceBreaker832 yea why not.

  • So what if its a clone there is still a charger sitting there rotting. I would have bought it right then and there. Its a shame to see cars like that in junk yards.

  • did not have fender scoops....CLONE

  • IT WAS Pro streeted DAYTONA I KNEW THE GUY WHO HAD IT. I SEEN THAT CAR EVERYDAY I WAS TO AFRAID TO ASK HOW MUCH HE WANTED FOR IT,I HEARD LATER ON IT SOLD FOR $8,500.00 DOLLARS. I HEARD HE GOT IT FOR HIS WIFE WHAT A TRADE.

  • thats a roadrunner, not a charger

  • Fake or not.....GET A TRAILER, RETARD !!!!!!

  • it's for sale?

  • oh my focking god !! where tha hell is that junkyard !!! i'll buy that charger and repair it you can't do that to that beautifull piece of history how much they want for it?

  • @MrJuliocami chill out, its a clone

  • not a daytona.... its a 69 plymouth super bird idk which enginge it has but its a lot a car

  • @johngypsy12345678910 Thats a daytona.

  • @airsoftloverusp ohhhhh i diddnt know cuz i saw one at an auction that was a superbird

  • @johngypsy12345678910 The Superbird was the Plymouth version of the Dodge Daytona. They made a Plymouth version to convince Richard petty to come back from Ford. This is a Dodge (see the white bumblebee stripe around the trunk) Also, all street Superbirds have vinyl roofs. They did that because they grafted the Charger 500 rear window onto the Roadrunner, and it wasn't a very clean job. Since there were so few of them made they just covered it up with vinyl instead of changing the sheetmetal. :D

  • @drewdane40 your fking smart lol

  • @drewdane40 Actually, the rear window on the Plymouth wasn't changed,it's the same as on the '70 Roadrunner.

  • @moparrules1968 actually the rear window on the 70 roadrunner Superbird was changed. All production Superbirds wore vinyl tops to hide the welding seams left by the fitment of the flush-mounted rear window

  • @coldfarted CORRECT AND IM A CHEVY GUY, But i love all muscle cars wether it be a mopar or a ford i love them all

  • @derrickfromsomerset I'm a Chevy guy too.. but i have always loved old MOPARS

  • @johngypsy12345678910 superbird didn't come out till 70' if I'm not mistaken and they were also about 40mph slower on the top speed.
