yah but I recorded it with one of those v-cams (the little orange ones that you buy at walmart) and I was looking through glass so it is a little sketchy but the point was to capture slippy on tape. he's so cute:-P
hey, i ahve a pet painted turtle. hes about 13 years old now. lol. im curious, how long do they live up to and hes like the size of a, toast plate? something like that. will he grow more or probably stay the same size for a while to adapt to the tank, container, umm, whateevr you cal em lol. hope you can reply.
yes I can reply but however, sadly I can't answer cuz I'm not really sure, I din't know they lived that long at all! u must really love the little guy er big or medium of that were not sure lol! Turtles could be like fish, big in a bigger tank small in a smaller one I dunno, check out wikipedia or google the info I'm sure you'll turn up something:-)
yah, I'm starting to doubt my decision on that but he's getting to big for his tank and we can't fford a bigger better one. plus i just think he'd be all around happier free.
no but you can always get a slider or order one off the internet. If they use a good fast mail, they should get there in a day or two. Just don't do it in winter. a frozen turtle wouldn't be much fun:-/.

I used to feed mine shiners, got a shiner pond by the house. He ate good =)

I'll bet he did. Slippy is getting big, very big. like a plate with legs! We'll be letting him go in a pond in the spring. He'll be better off.

Anyone know where I can get captive bred painted turtles in the Toronto area? I don't want to take them from ponds. Thanks!
