You can't teach someone how to do that, but most of the time thats how it goes. Just a quick step either direction usually gets you past that first guy. You shouldn't teach anyone anything in terms of how to evade anyone, if its not natural they shouldn't be playing a position they have to do that.

On a punt you need to make the first guy miss i have used to stutter steps a few times when you field a punt you rarely have any speed built up to loose. I do alway try to a big side step but sometimes the defender isn't close enough and you rarely win heads up if you take 2-5 steps he will have the momentum if he hits you. run over guys when you have picked up speed or the have lost some. Even out the odds pick up block and you can then go to the house.

wat happens win the guy still hits you while your juking (they usually do) you fumble, just get the ball, follow your blocks and gain as much yards as possible. if you have good blockers you should be able to get decent yards or maybe even a touchdown but its all about blocks
